this is similar to people stealing other peoples photographs on ebay. That's why there are watermarks on ebay pictures. Also you don't need software to take someones video.

I know of many programs which you can do this with. Real player, flash lynx (NCH software) and you could use camstudio. Not that in any way i support doing this. But when you brought it to my attention i realized and saw that anyone could do that, i have Camstudio and Flash lynx and there are many more pieces of FREE software that do the same thing!!!

Well, not everyone who downloads videos does it to re-upload them. I just had to say that. I personally do download some videos, but I then upload them to my iPod just so that I can watch them whenever I want to. I don't share the videos, just watch them myself when I can't get online & I'm bored. Just thought I'd share a different point of view. (But, uploading them & not giving credit is horrible and I do NOT endorse that. Don't get me wrong! LOL)

Then you can go in and update, I think your videos and put the watermark onto your videos and then put them back onto YouTube. That's scary though to know someone would do that to someone else. You get on here and are nice enough to teach others what you know and bamm someone else has your stuff. That's mean.

Yeah I thought in a way that was cool, because all that you need is real player and Internet Explorer and being on Youtube you can download videos to your system and then put them on your iPhone or ipod, mediaplayer. But now that you say this about the software, it does make me wonder and I do often check my name to make sure that my name is not all over the internet thanks for the information, no I don't steal videos,honestly.

WaterMark For Windows Movie Maker yes, you click on 1)titles and credits 2)titles on the selected clip then type your "Screen Name" or what ever you choose 3)change the text font and color and then adjust your transparency then click "Add" Just remember to Adjust/DRAG Your Transparency Across The Length Of Your Video,

I have seen this and I didnt know how they were doing this. I sent a email to 3 gurus on youtube and told them that I seen their videos on someones page as thier own. Thanks for letting us know that their is programs out there. I dont make videos but I watch alot of makeup gurus.

they used to sell the youtube downloader on cnetdownloads, they had took it off because people using it the wrong way. That is messed up. I know this has been going on for awhile even when you click do not embed.

Oh yeah, these programs have been around for 8 years, that I know of, maybe more. Most players (Divx, etc.) offers a video capture feature. After seeing someone who I subscribe to videos on someone elses page. I start using a watermark as well. Thanks for posting this video. It's a great way to bring about awareness.

Hi TBeRRii, A watermark, is a personal identification that lets everyone know that the video is your.

And that you created it!! . Like what I did in this video. "Created By Dezi1016"
