@WarriorPoet2 Do you mean the letters in the manual? I don't know who did those. If you're talking about the font I used in the title, it's an alternative style set of the Gabriola font that comes with Windows 7.
Let me get this straight: King Graham is setting out on a dangerous journey, risking life and limb, without a sword or his indestructible shield, to rescue a woman whose image he saw for no more than a minute or two, and marry her, despite never having met or talked to her in person. Sounds completely asinine. Let's go for it! (and hope that the kingdom of Daventry has a damn good marriage counselor.
So let's recap. A ghost of a previous king (note: the same king who lost the three treasures and set up this whole mess to begin with) basically tells Graham to get laid but Graham is picky and won't settle for anyone. A mirror which is always smoking shows him Princess Fiona (because that's what I thought of when reading the description) guarded by a Witch (big surprise) and Graham sets out on another King's Quest... I think I might have missed something there.
In his defense, he wasn't just looking for someone he could fall in love with and marry. He was also looking for someone who would make a good queen for Daventry, a person the people could respect and admire. Apparently in Graham's opinion, squinting, giggling, clumsiness, and being overly coy aren't things befitting a queen. That being said, he was most definitely shooting for the moon by looking for the perfect queenly candidate.
@Dilandau3000 Either version is correct, nobody has provided a proper phonetic pronunciation yet. So I'm using my English degree and say that depending whether you interpret the y as a consonant or a vowel.
And IMHO, just becuase KQ2+ wasn't made by Sierra doesn't mean it's not good.
I just imagine Jerry Seinfeld dressed as Graham, turning away the maidens over tiny faults.

Who does the artwork for those fancy letters, and where can I find more?

@Dilandau3000 Yeah I meant the one's that are little pieces of art. Shame there's no source, they sure are cool!

@WarriorPoet2 I suspect they were just done by whoever illustrated the manual for Sierra back in the 80s.

In a "modern" adaptation, someone would ask Graham: "What are You, gay?"

you didnt say the word Kolyma right.
its sounds like Kol i ma. They said so in the VGA version .

@TheWhussupman The VGA version wasn't made by Sierra, so my interpretation of the pronounciation is just as valid. :P

@Phanto5692 I never said it wasn't good. In fact, KQ2+ is very good. It's just not "official", for whatever that's worth.
