hey mjjb lol care to make that statement again? rofl you got rocked so hard at least we outplayed them and just had a bad coverage. you guys got dominated in the utmost sense of the word
If it werent for a contrdictory rule saying ground can cause an incompletion, but not a fumble, we won outright. that pass was in complete possession of receiver all the way to the ground. it even took a second for it to pop out after he hit the ground. that rule needs to be reevaluated. go big red.
i don't think it was so much the Receivers as it was just Lee.. and yes, Tech all around looked bad. for how 'great' they're hyped to be bieng held to 53 yards int he 2nd half until the final minutes of the game doesnt say much..and yet we dropt o the bottom of the t-25.. we need big wins over missouri and kansas if we want a chance at BCS bowl bid now.
I don't know about you, but tech's D didn't really look all that impressive. It looked more like Lee and the WRs were just off their game (granted, it could've been because of the D). They did block well for Helu though, which is a welcomed change. But c'mon, that game was far too painful.
Our D didn't look that good but we were also missing our best corner who tackles as good as anyone on the team. We could have been better but like usual, we bend but don't break. 5 field goals and 0 touch downs shows a good defense i think.
And when it comes down to it, that's all that matters. Good luck this week with Miami. I just hope your D has something left in its tank to shut those annoying thugs up. We'll all be watching.

well, thats how the game of football works. tough luck.

Very painful loss I think we will use it to motivate our first road win against ranked team at Missouri. GBR!
