Deadly i got this guitar :) i was looking for this everywhere till i found one used and its like brand new the owner didn't play it good action deadly sounding pickups beautiful design and finish i also got two customs ebony and alpine. sick video man you got the amp i want badly :p keep rockin!
you have that thing tuned in niiice. I have this same setup myself but mine is the epi custom silverburst. I just switched the pickups to a hot rodded humbucker set and I found it complimented my amp nicely. It cleaned up alot of the muddier tones I would get.
Nice! I play my Les Paul with '57 alnico reissue pickup, ZW-44 overdrive, Crybaby GCB95, through 2 MG 100HDFX half stacks! They DO sound GREAT for the price don't they?
love the marhall tucker dude ROCK ONN!! but whas the first tune you were playin I KNOW it bu i cannot place what it is refresh my memmory thanks and nice playin \m/
Hey I'm new to this "stocks" and stuff, can a head play alone? And is it as good as a normal amp by itself? I'm planning to buy this amp head, so I wanted to know, thanks :)
hey DCOOPER830 hey headresses very well the guitar yeah! I have one doubts, I want to buy one of these, but they have said to me that this model of Marshall quickly the circuits by their integrated effects are burned and that for that reason is cheap, good also said music professors to me that the digital mall pillows are bad but they only learned that have not touched one, your that you say to me?i need your help greetings and thanks
Do you have a crybaby wah pedal? If so, can you demonstrate it through this amp with different guitars? I'm trying to find out wh the effect isnt so good, whether it's my strat or my Peavy amp. someone told me it'd be much better through a Marshall, but I'd like to be sure.
It is basically a regular Epiphone Les Paul Custom which they named "Classic" because of its looks having the vintage dark cream binding and black pickups. You can purchase one right now at GuitarCenterdotcom for $699 w/free Epi hard case. Again, it functions exactly like a regular Epi LP Custom so if you're curious to know about the specs and everything else, that's pretty much it.
people bash the crap out of the mg heads, this just goes to show , plug it in a decent cab , with some decent speakers and you can get a really good sound. even a jcm 800 will sound like crap out of a mg cab , with stock speakers. sounds good dcooper.
What would you know about set ups? How could you know if they are bad?!? Did you try their SG G-400? What about their Les Paul Standard? Not bad guitars at all and they are in the 400-500 range.
I like how compared the solid to the Jcm 800 2203 I have the same amp too its fucken bro I was was going between the JCM 800 2203 and Vintage modern 2466 but I choice the Jcm 800 cause its a classic =) it sounds great with my vintage 30s ..awesome playing bro
hey Dave, do you still have your DSL? Which do you like better, the JCM800 or the DSL?
What are our settings, if you don't mind sharing?
I set my Marshall(clean channel/crunch setting) with gain at 10:00, bass maxed out, mids at 11:00, treble at 12 noon. On the high gain channel I do the same(on OD2, I don't use OD1 at all), but have treble also at 11:00, then just tweak with the contour knob to taste. Sounds killer!
I like the JCM 800 and the DSL 100 about the same. The JCM 800 is a little more agressive sounding and the DSL is a little smoother sounding. But they both get that killer "Screaming For Vengeance" tone as well as classic rock, blues, R&B, and country tones. With my guitar volume knob and a volume pedal in the effects loop, I can get every sound I need without touching the amps controls.
On the MG100HDFX I play on the clean channel crunch mode and boost it with my MXR ZW-44 overdrive pedal.

Where did you find that guitar??? All the eppihones I have tried go outa tune after thirty seconds, the fretz buzz, non Ive found are playable.
litlemadguitarist 2 years ago
Maybe you are a 10 year old and suck ass at guitar. Epiphones or any other guitars are playable in the hands of a good guitarist.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
1st, Im not a ten year old.
2-the guitars Ive tried that are eppiphone wer bad. BUT that could have been badly set up.
