  • koko baby!

  • so awesome

  • THIS IS GREAT!

  • Large Marge sent me.

  • Kurt Vile is officially the most brilliant name for a musician ever...

  • People complaining about simple songs is why I'm glad I never picked up a guitar. I can appreciate the music as whole, instead of just it's technical aspect.

  • @allthesecars Technical ability should be appreciated, but it should never be the only thing considered. If I can't relate to a song, or it doesn't change my mood or at least make me feel SOMETHING then it's not a good song. And I do play guitar. Not all guitarist think only about technical ability.

  • Everyone check out Kurt's band The War On Drugs in the side bar-----> they kick ass and deserve more views then what they have!

  • Guys on Youtube are all crying that music of today suck. But it's clear they didn't came listen this video.

  • This reminds me of Jesus & Mary Chain laid back cool rocking!

  • sounds groovy to me.

  • I read a review of this album and i just had to get a listen of it. I don't regret doing it now coz I'm loving

  • i love the vibe of this music.

  • uno de los mejores discos del año!

  • 'If it has more than three chords, it's jazz.” - Lou Reed

  • This is great! Not to mention, he has the same initials as Kurt Vonnegut. That has to count for something.

  • This was the last album me and my dad listened to before he passed away two months ago...

  • The only difficult part about this song is disliking it, just the way it should be.

  • This one reminds me Kim Carnes's Bette Davis Eyes...

  • could be 68 could be 82 could be 91, 2001 0r 2056, just so heartening to hear free music for once this guy just drifts, rockin

  • Pure MAGIC!!!!

  • honestly...kurt vile is a great guitarist....i've found in his albums a magic sound!!!!...but i can't find melodic creativity...i think that if he would play guitar without sing he will be 1000 times better!!

  • definitely one of my favourites

  • Clapton said it best in his autobiography, talking about how in his opinion, the best guitar players are those who can make interesting songs out of little more than one chord.

  • I love this whole album.

  • This is actually pretty chill ... wow ... something to create to ... and just loose yourself in ....

  • Kurt Vile. This man is a future legend.

  • music is definately my preferred drug.

fuck alcohol and weed, i'm sticking with music!

  • Check out Dave Matthews band if you just want a lot of chords. These three chords are apparently plenty for a beautiful song.

  • I get chills when I hear this - couldn't give fuck all how many chords there are.

  • chords don't matter man, a song's ability isn't based on it's variation or structure. it's about how it sounds and how it makes you feel,3 chords or 24 chords .anyone with me? i've only just discovered kurt vile, thanks to an album review that intrigued me. i dig this song, it's therapeutic, feels like it's trying to bring people out of a dark place.

  • @SoasisG Complexity never made the best art.

  • @SoasisG when i was at bonnaroo last year i met this faggot fukking indie kid that kept trashing bands for just playing power chords. my favorite bands nirvana, so needless to say he pissed me off a great deal. "there's no such thing as simple. simple is hard" -Martin Scorsese

  • @SoasisG you're right, chords don't matter in pop music

  • @SoasisG Well, to add a little bit more, good music (and great music) has its character come from timbre and phrasing and warmth not just technicalities. That are a lot of guitar wizards out there who can fire off a thousand notes in three seconds or cram seven time changes in three minutes and its about as interesting to listen as paint drying. I like more complex things and less complex things but its the character of the piece that makes art, art - complex or simple.

  • since when is it about much chords, i know awesome 2 chord songs, which are anything but trivial

  • May 2011 's song

  • @zYOUTOOz So I'm guessing you don't play guitar?

  • tite

  • Smoke ring for my Simone!!!!

  • @zYOUTOOz the world of rock n'roll is built on three chords

  • @assaglioli I thought it was five?

  • @assaglioli not 3 chords 3 intervals. Common mistake but it transcends into any key signature, both minor and major. You are right but kind of fundamentally wrong at the same time. Mad love for Kurt all things aside.

  • @solidheir fuck off you pretentious twat

  • @assaglioli hahahah embarrassed by your ignorance, i was just saying man, settle the fuck down, this is about Kurt Vile- not you. As much as that may disgruntle you. Its the way it is.

  • @assaglioli you're made of just four molecules which comprise DNA. These four molecules are adenine, thymine, cytosine, and guanine. God just one upped rock n roll

  • @assaglioli which three? G and C obviously but what's the third? (I'm being facetious)

  • @r0b0hobo D, C, Em.

  • nice song not a bad album he has talent
