But seriously, one MUST not mix any KClO3 compound (which h3 is) With anything containing sulfur! I presume your C6 stars contained sulfur, since it's in the formula:
S + KClO3 = Accident/boom/death :P very unstable mixture.
I am aware of the incompatibility and the stars/burst were separated by a water proof[plastic] barrier, so that the two compositions wouldn't interact with each other until the effect time when the burst would burn through the bag and light th stars.

Good :P It's good to on the safe side though, so i still wouldn't do it. But it seems like you've taken your precautions!
I have prepared 12 3" shells for tonight, and 6 2" shells, so im excited :P And ontop of that is my consumer stuff
