Good way to get yourself killed. The fact that the vehicle started to lift and drift is evidence enough that the driver was dumb as dogshit to attempt the crossing.
@loswaldo666 what a looser the driver isn't dumb it s just that he's got balls and i guess like every real off-road driver wouldn't mind spending $ for a good rush the worst option would've been a few 1000 s in repairs totally worth it
one needs steer the car more-less against the flow of water the way coxwain do to avoid being swept ...but the whole thing will again depend on several factors like the car load & other system of forces
He probably didnt! I used our old freelander TD4 in the UK floods and managed to get to the far side of a road, floated most of the way well past its wade point, water all over the car at one stage and me thinking shall I jump for it, but it made it and only the back door leaked a bit, no problems, so LR's can be pushed to the extreme
I now own this Land Rover!! This explains why the injection pump was seized solid when I got it. Water had gone in through the beather hole and rusted the top of the pump! I couldnt get any turbo boost. I guess this might also explain why it had all new brakes when I got it as well. Now has a full size intercooler and a tweeked pump. goes well
This at coughton ford?

You must have some bollocks to do that! I wouldn't dare attempt to do anything like that. How did you know that it would do it?
