  • or a shoe to entertain the mexacans

  • i think that those dinos were puting up a fighting match

  • yeah let's stab the Styracosaurus, the Allosaurus will thank us and we can all be friends yaaay

  • Why the hell did the cowboy stab the Styracosaurus instead of the damn Allosaurus?

I have seen this movie before but it has been a long long time..

  • Gwangi just dont give a fuck.

  • gwangi better fighter than ceratosaurus from 100 million years bc

  • ??????????????????????????????

  • Looks beautiful.

  • is the worst dinosaur scene I've ever seen xDDDDDDD

  • they don't make movie like this anymore

  • pretty good for 1969 and Gila Golan was an incredible beauty. some of Ray Harryhausen,s best work creating the dinosaurs.

  • Thumbs up if you think "The Valley Of Gwangi" is better than "Carnosaur"

  • Why the hell did he stab the Styrocosaurus instead of Gwangi???

  • @dinosaur8000 It's an allosaurus. And he's called Gwangi because that's his name.

  • wow dude i feel so bad for you that there are a lot of stupid people here saying dumb stuff

  • Being a cowboy looks like hard work.

  • GAAAAAHHHHH!!! I want this on DVD SOOOO BAD. I haven't been able to find in at a reasonable price anywhere online. X(

  • haha stupid cowboys

  • better than CGI!

  • Such a realistic movie !

  • Umm i wouldve went ahead and stabed gwangi instead of the styracosaurus but tats just me

  • i've watched this movie before

  • I love how Gwangi's favorite tactic is shoving the styracosaur's very long and sharp horn into its mouth...

  • So is a Styracosaurus mean it's made outa styra-foam?

  • Sty had Gwangi on the ropes before Carlos intervened.....but then Carlos was protecting his investment. Classic fight though

  • Is it that hard to piece the body of the what-ever-the-name-of-t-rex-like-creature

  • @acegenerals Gwangi is not a normal dinosaur. He walks upright, has armored scales and seems to survive on Rule of Cool and homocidal mania.

  • cool!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • /watch?v=0rzFKD78it0

    Here is a better fight

  • Go, Gwangi!

  • stop motion KICKS ASS

  • @lifeform106 ...Not sure if troll...

  • @lifeform106 How old are you? 12? Valley of Gwangi is a classic. Just because it's old and inaccurate by today's standards does not make it "gay". I also find it pretty funny that you say dinosaurs weren't like that, and then in the next breath say I should upload stuff from JP and LDotD. Especially the latter. LDotD is one of the most pathetic, inaccuracy-riddled, piece of garbage dinosaur documentaries ever made. And both of the fights from JP have been uploaded by other people anyway.

  • @InfernoRodan last day of the dinosaurs is garbage retard! it is awesome with the biggest killer t-rex of all time way better than stupid graphics!

  • Comment removed

  • @lifeform106 I know full well what you meant by gay. And in regards to your other comment, LDotD is in fact garbage. The fact that you think otherwise is just proof that you have no idea what you're talking about. By the way, you calling me stupid and retard is really hilarious considering you're barely able to type a coherent sentence.

  • @InfernoRodan ok i give up ok you win!

  • @InfernoRodan LDotD? whats that?

  • @lifeform106 shut the hell up already ive seen ignorant people on youtube kid but you set the bar for it grow the hell up and learn how to enjoy what this is if this had never been you wouldnt have had directors inspired to be making the movies they were today grow up and please dont choose a career that has anything to do with moviemaking because well have another damn michael bay on our hands from what i read...

  • @SchitzzEnGiggles ok fine you win! sorry to bother you i will stop this whole thing of messing with you and your videos.

  • @lifeform106 meh its not about winning mate just know how to appreciate the classics!

  • @SchitzzEnGiggle that was a old comment man

  • @lifeform106 and this is an old movie lol

  • @lifeform106 Jurassic Park 3 had the worst dinosaur related battle in the history of dinosaur films.

    Just sayin'

  • Respond to this video... By God, it's 1969! It's like complaining that Ipods weren't around in the 1950s. Excuse people of 1969 for not knowing about CGI.

  • @RajaHarimau98 fine you win ok i just don't really like how people think of dinosaurs back then.

  • @lifeform106 Dinosaurs were not like this!? hmmmmm...Were you alive then jack?! lol

I love how everyone points out how movie dinosaurs are "Inaccurate".

    A. Were you alive to see how real dinosaurs behaved? doubt it

    B. It's....a...Movie!!! it's to entertain, not educate! Not that accuracy is bad, and movies like Jurassic Park that try (at least to a point) to show dinosaurs realistically are cool, but fuck...you wanna' "learn" something, read a damn book.

  • @lifeform10

Bit of a late reply but back then this was considered to be accurate, of course this changed but that’s no reason to dis it. Not to mention “Jurassic Park” is a very poor choice for “realistic dinosaurs”, ex. Giant scaly over intelligent velociraptors and frilled Dilophosaurs.

  • @lifeform106 i bet this movie is so old they use real dinos

  • @guadaluperamirezr back then they did stop motion pics lol so yea i don't really enjoy battles that show dinosaurs like this

  • nom nom nom nom

  • Barney on steroids, methane, crack?

  • This video is proof that paleontological theories on how Ceratopsians walked and moved were just plain wrong. . . . If a Styracosaurus truly were so lizard-like and sluggish, it would, well, die. . . .

  • @Illiasc It's a fantasy film not an educational documentary!

  • this is what i love about stop motion

    its looks so realistic

because when you making these stop motion

you can "interact" with the creature you're controlling

its like you're a god,and control their behaviour and action

its a lot more better than those crappy cgi's (i have nothing against cgi)

  • this movie picture was filmed in the location of Cuenca (Spain) around the sixties

  • Ray "Vince McMahon" Harryhausen.

  • Styracosaurus sounds like a horse

  • @tayybear09 ...It's the horses that sound like a horse, ya idjit.

  • @tayybear09 there are horses on the side phuknut

  • @tayybear09 hey genius notice the horses in da backround how smart are you? or wait maybe your blind

  • @TheKaijuKing9000 hey smart one notice that my brother commented on this cuz i dont watch stupid crap like this. so get it straight, k thanks hun :)

  • @tayybear09 shut it stop trolling and we have opinons now keep your krap to your self so keep get your god damn shit to your self

  • Poor styracosaurus... 6,000 pounds and a herbivore...

  • this is definitely a porno

  • cowboys and dinosaurs? seems to be a great movie

  • the dinosaurs are trying to clean the ground with their tails!

  • VAQUERO DE MIERDA QUE TENIA QUE METERSE HDP

  • Cryptozoology novel about two boys who find something on the beach one night see video book trailer

  • Epic Fight! The elephant stood hardly a chance but this beast kept on fighting.

  • Gwangi = Allosaurus?

  • god I love ray harryhausens work

  • 0:56 NUT SHOT!!!

  • the only way I can describe this film.

'King Kong but with barney' xD

  • That spear weakened the Styracosaurus.

The Styracosaurus was winning until that clown speared him in his side!

  • cowboys and dinosaurs, what more could you want in a movie?

  • ok was carlos going for gwangi?

  • so were the cowboys trying to save gwangi,i'm confused?

  • That Styracosuarus had Gwangi easy if Carlos didn't interfere. Ceratopsians are quite ruthless when enraged

  • @j822bosh remember that harryhausen did that for the movie not for a documentary

your right tho and i find it funny how he just goes up there and the spears in and he runs it looks weird

  • @j822bosh remember that harryhausen did that for the movie not for a documentary

your right tho and i find it funny how he just goes up there and the spears in and he runs it looks weird oh and U DONT JACK WITH AN ALLOSAURUS

  • @j822bosh The spear barely even penetrated the Styracosaurus' skin, as evidenced by the fact that it fell out on its own just a couple seconds later. It had no bearing whatsoever on the outcome of the fight.

  • @InfernoRodan There's no reason to do an autopsy. It's a movie, the producer does what he wants.

  • @InfernoRodan That scene has always puzzled me - Carlos stabs the styracosaur yet it hardly even scratches the creature.

  • @j822bosh and you know this because you've seen one alive?

  • This was an awesome battle, I really liked watching this when I was a kid.

  • The Valley Of Gwangi 4 me was a gd film. But come on. Who came up with an idea of mixing cowboys and dinosaurs (lol)

  • @GreenArrowM they took two things that were popular at the time and mixed them together, simple

  • @MechaRodan659 thats right Sean (winks)

  • @GreenArrowM The same guy who conceived the original 'King Kong'! The origianl idea of a prehistoric donosaur battling cowboys was actually conceived, but never realized on film by the late, great Master of Stop Motion animation, Willis O'Brien! Ray Harryhausen and Charles Schneer collaborated to finally bring the idea to life on the screen!
