OH! It's Constance Hatchaway! The bride who killed all her spouses. She was married 5 times, and shes in the stretching elevator ride. The one sitting on one of her spouses tombstones with the axe in it. She has a really satisfied look O_O

I grew up going to Disneyland. I would go on this ride all the time and when they had the older bride, she scared the living shit out of me.

Ever since they replaced her with this, I was upset because this bride is nowhere as scary as the original one was :(

Gosh, i just went to disneyland this past july 25 09' and the haunted mansion has always been my favorite ride, but this time it seemed like the ride was going too fast. When i got to the attic part, i barely got a chance to look at the bride (Constance) it went so quick. I was a little dissapointed.

Yeah, I definetly like this version more. The old one didn't look real enough and her face was too green. The hearbeat was nice, but this gives you something to really observe and listen to.

Its a maniquen (like the ones people use to size clothes) with a vail and a gown on blown on by a ffan. and the projection (a plain 2D projection) is projected ON it.

I love the little details that went into her story. Watch the pictures of her and her husbands-- and besides seeing them 'losing their heads'-- you can also see that with each new husband she gets another necklace of pearls and jewelry. She also grins wider as time goes on, and in the final portrait, is holding the rose just as her older painting in the stretching gallery. So much attention to detail.

Constance is the name of the Black Widow Bride, I don't believe the old bride had an official name, but if you look on the photographs of the husbands she murdered, her name is listed as 'Constance'. She's also the woman sitting on the grave in the stretching gallery.

it has change ive been on this ride over 10 times since i was 8 yrs old and im 24 now. theyve change a few things on the ride like they added the stairs with the footsteps, the bride, madam leota, and the ballroom/dining room scene has changed a bit too.

when the ride first opened, there was a groom next to the bride called the hatbox ghost. his head would disappear and reappear in the hatbox he held with every beat of the brides heart. The effect didn't work as well as hoped, because the head on his shoulders never fully disappeared and was removed. This was what was left of an idea to have the ride tell a story instead of having a series of generally unrelated scenes. if you wanna learn a LOT about the haunted mansion look up doombuggies

Her name is Constance Hatchaway, she is a Black Widow. She married five men- all of them are on portraits in Stretching Room- and then killed them to take their wealth for herself. For that she was cursed and became another ghost in HM. she constantly repeats wedding phrases, and as she move arms up, a hatchet appears in her hand- the tool she used to kills her grooms.
