@chanjunyuan89, you're correct. LP560 destroys the M5. LP560 will pull on the M5 by 1/2 soccer field. Balboni LP550 will pull on the M5 by 1/2 soccer field and 1/2 valleyball court. You will pull equally as much with Italia 458. Gallardo SE is only a tiny bit faster than the 1st gen Gallardo. Both of which are incredibly slow, they are old tech too. Gallardo's starting 2008 and up are the real juice.

I think this is a great way to compare performance. Just because a car hits 60 faster then the other, doesn't say which is faster. I think aero-dynamics, power to weight ratio, etc. is a cool way to compare real world performance.

and 50km/hr -270km/hr race is shit for the lambo, the 1st gear in the gallardo se only goes to 70 before it shifts (seen in the video aswell), the M5 was already in 2nd (m5 was in it's sweet spot already, gallardo wasn't) gallardos sweet spot is a standing start @ 0km/hr or 70km/hr in 2nd gear.

If you a purely testing engine power in a straight line well yes, but for every other reason imagineable a standing start is a real test of how the car as a whole transfers the engine power to the road, throw in a corner or two and watch the gallardo go into a league of it's own. These cars didn't start from a dig, so being that the gallardo is 4WD and the M5 RWD is irrelevant. Also, I'm not a fan of understeer, so you can keep the 4WD. Not to say that the M5 in particular is a track animal, the gallardo is obviously more performance oriented in that respect, but this video proves in a fairly unbiased situation just how well the BMW V10 holds up against a car worth more than double the value.
