@darkpixielette If you son was getting his ears pierced, I would expect you, as a mother, to comfort him or support him as it was being done. That's what caring parents do - isn't it? Your two year old wasn't old enough to anticipate waiting for the piercing or it hurting, with older kids it is different as they anticipate both. The key issue here is that although he experienced a bit of pain, he stuck with it and had them pierced. Isn't that what counts?

@darkpixielette I don't see the logic of your point that you wouldn't bring your son for future piercings of tattooing if he acted like this. Even though, when he was older, both of those things might hurt, he probably would stick it though to the end nonetheless. As I said before, sticking it through is what counts.

@darkpixielette i agree with you! i have four young boys who each had their ears pierced at 4 years old and they didn't act like a complete pussy like this kid did! my boys had one ear pierced at a time and they took it like a MAN! God, if was that kid's father I'd give him a hiding for acting up so much when he was pierced. i think the kid should have some more piercings done so he can get used it and stop acting like a girl.
