  • HOLY snap this is good i have to admit.

  • What a talented and hard-working girl!

  • @aawpiano2007 Does she want to practise 1.5 hours a day?

  • Magnifique!!!!

  • Are you still taking lessons with that teacher then??!! You have great talent but many technical issues to be fixed that your teacher should be telling you about. Good luck.

  • @toomuchmoretolearn Thank you for your comment! She has moved away from that teacher from last fall.

  • I'll start to practica piano per day.

She is a inspiration. Talent and Effort.

I`m kinda envious, but hear your performance makes me feel happy.

    Good Job

    Bye

  • Dear Angeni,

With such a demanding teacher, I'm not surprised that you play so well this piece which is one of my favotite pieces (I can't play piano, but I LOVE to listen). Thank you SO MUCH por sharing !

    Florence from France

  • Unbelievable! I can't imagine 9yo kid playing that! When did she start playing piano? She must be practicing several hours a day. Amazing job!

  • i think something is wrong with how u taped it because it sounds kind of itchy but its good-when u look at it on youtube u cant really hear the dynamics as well soo it wasnt that bad it was pretty good

  • She is so yong but is able to interpret this piece beautifully... I am impressed. How old is she?

  • She started this piece before 9 and the video was taken when she turned to 9. Thanks, ckc357.

  • Very, very good. VERY good. It's a tough piece - but sooooo rewarding. It rewards you for the work you put into it. :)

  • wow......you play it very well....im impressed.....im learning it and it is hard...good job!

  • It´s really enjoyable! I´m a 2nd year piano student from Argentina, 23 yrs old, and I started practising this piano piece and I find it quite difficult. So I´m very impressed of your performance. Congratulations!

  • Thank you for your words, abhikmazumder!

  • Well, i have work again : to copy this piece of music to put it on my CD, then i can hear it over and over again when i am driving my truck.

Great job, and never stop to give us great music ! 5 stars of course.

  • This is one of the best awards we have got since we started posting videos on youtube. We are extremely happy that our music stays with you while you need it! Thank you antraciet!

  • very NICE!! your touch and axpression is exquisite... not an easy piece!

  • Very nice interpretation, Angeni... keep up the good work and interest for music. How old are you? I am posting for you the video of one of my students, Hailey... I hope you'll enjoy it, she is a little girl like you...

  • Beautifully Played....

  • Thank you Shela!

  • Very nice! A beautiful piece to play! I am sure you will enjoy playing it anytime now or later.

  • I think you played this beautifully - bravo!

  • Thank you Suzy!

  • Hello Bill, He believes that after a while when the small hands stretch a bit more it'll be a lot easier to handle this piece. The new Chopin's is 'Waltz op. posth. 70, no2'

  • lovely

  • Thank you PianoScale!

  • It's funny.. though my teacher does not tell me to shelve a piece she assigned, she "forgets" about it completely. Perhaps its her way of telling me to shelve it for now. lols! btw, I find your playing this piece very good!!

  • exactly the same thing happened to my Chopin's Raindrop Prelude. My guess it that he felt the same thing like this piece, that my fingers are not 'qualified' to handle it:( Thank you Enzo for lending me an ear and taking time to comment! it is much appreciated! -- Angeni

  • Amazing, how well you play. Its to me so different to your normal posts. You are a star but I am not qualified really to comment on your piano skills but to me its lovely ;-) THANKS xxx

  • Hi Angeni, you did such a great job after 6 weeks! I like this piece, especially the part around 2:05.. :) Too bad your teacher told you not to work on it for now. :( Maybe it will be one of those secret pieces? ;) Recently my teacher found out about the Mozart.. she noticed I wasn't practicing what she was giving me as much. Whoops! :)

  • Hello Maya -- thank you for your comment! maybe it'll become another secret piece ;) but he actually traded this one with another Chopin's waltz. I find it hard to have any time for secret pieces as before, when I was preparing for the exam due to the work load :D what did your teacher say when she found that out?

  • Sounds like you are really busy!! :) My teacher sighed mostly. ;) But maybe it will be good to show her. Then she can help me with my technique. But there will be a lot of frowning.. if you know what I mean! ;)

I am working on a waltz from Chopin too.. and a nocturne. Lots of Chopin :D Are your fingers big enough now to play his pieces?

  • Hey good idea Maya! Why don't we bring the 'secret piece' to show the teacher. maybe they'd also like it.

your words gave me good smile, those frowning part :D)) which waltz of Chopin's are you working on? just wondering if we happen to work on the same piece:D

  • Hi Angeni, I am working on the waltz op. 18. It is great fun! That would be cool to work on the same piece :) I'm not sure if I showed it to my teacher though.. I showed it to her about 3 months ago and she said it was my level but it had too many pages! :P

I can't wait to see your Chopin waltz. :D Did you film any more pieces in this studio?

  • Hello Maya, mine is op. posth. 70, no2, not the same. How long has your teacher been teaching you? Is she nice? My ex-teacher did a lot more than just "frowning" ;) how many pages does your waltz have? mine is not too many haha:D

  • Cool, I like that piece. :) My teacher has been teaching me since I was 7, about 5 years. She is nice and not as strict as other teachers (at least the ones my friends have!) and doesn't do grades, or exams.. Also when I was 8 or 9 I did some Jazz & Blues instead of classical. It was fun, but she goes at slower pace than most teachers. :) I like to push myself a lot! My waltz has 9 or 10 pages.

Your ex-teacher? Do you have a different teacher now? :)

  • Amazing, how well you play this difficult piece. The sound is so beautiful!

  • Hi Heinz -- I found your comment really encouraging, although you must have found lots of room to improve. thank you!

  • If the playing is so beautiful - who cares about a few wrong notes or other nit-pickings.

  • Thank you kpunkt! I decide to keep practice of this piece -- too pretty to leave behind.

  • just got inspired by other's video of this piece, looks like adding some more rubato would be a good idea. but that only comes after longer period of practice.

  • sounds good to me! :-) good job!

  • Again played with emotions. Did you know, i made a CD with music, played by you and some others like Rachel, Enzo, Arthur,Vivian, Dave,..all youtube-memebers who plays music with their heart. I am a truckdriver at night, and when i am stressed, i just listen to your music, makes me less nervous. So thank you !

  • thank you very much for your kind words -- that really adds the motive to the practice!

  • Absolutely wonderful! Definitely revisit this piece when you get the chance!

  • Thank you sesumaya! will do that for sure.

  • I can't see your hands, so I can't really suggest anything at the moment. The piece is lovely though. ...Oh wait! There they are... When you're playing a Tchaikovsky, you're playing a Romantic period piece. Be passionate as you play the dynamics. Try to make some dynamics stand out while making the others more subtle. I'd like to see a score of this. ^^

  • Just wonderful!

    -Duke

  • Thank you Duke!

  • You keep improving. You are making more refinements and playing with more understanding and feeling. Good for you!!!

  • Thank you piano6861 for your encouragement!

  • It sounds like you enjoy this piece!

  • keep up the practice. Sounds nice.

  • Thanks for taking time to appreciate my video! --Angeni

  • Very Good!!!

  • Thank you IndianaJeususfreak for your kind comment! -- Angeni
