Erm... considering a shitload of his music is remakes and remixes of other songs, he needs more original stuff to be considered on a real list of dubstep artists.

@Lastspark Some artists specialize in their own categories, like "Klaypex" specialize in remixes, while others make their own songs.

@Lastspark Most people started listening to artists such as Skrillex through the numerous remixes they would do, and now these artists have branched out producing their own sounds and look where he is now, Sonny Moore is one of the biggest names in electro music and is only getting bigger. Creativity is the seed which plants a new flag in music, dubstep is but a branch of music that would never have become if it were not for creativity and remixes.

@candersoar I am fucking tired of hearing remixes of Ellie Gouldings Lights, fucking lady gaga remixes and Katy Perry remixes. I am just saying everyone in general needs to create their own unique songs. Otherwise dubstep will die out as quickly as techno died out because all it has is remixes of songs that already exist. Sure a remix here and there is pretty cool but when most of the album are remixes of pop songs? Come the fuck on...

@Lastspark If you're so tired of hearing them, then dont listen to them, you have a choice. And secondly, techno did not die, it evolved for a more outgoing and enriched following. Since when does anyone buy albums anymore, no offence but the album industry is dying. When I can't even go to a music store and purchase the new Excision or Bassnectar CD, what is the point of trying to find them there.

@Lastspark If these types of music are becoming more and more mainstream to the youth, the main consumers of music, then why aren't they readily available to us. The reason these artists do these remixes is to get their names out there because the music supply industry fails to acknowledge the growth and profit of this section of their economy

This is what I think I have been looking for from this gene for a while now. Hot holy crap, I think this is everything Dubstep should be. Not some shitty hip hop remix, But a smooth and dirty aural experience.

Everything about this makes me happy.
