Every interview Ive seen with Angie and every other host has been askin rappers about the state of hip hop for like the past 3 fuckin years. Notice how its only the older hosts askin it too? The MAJORITY of people just moved on. Since when have you let the mainstream dictate what hip hop IS or ISNT? I don't let the mainstream dictate what's real hip hop to me. But not too long ago Jay and Em and 50 were mainstream and I like to think they represent real hip hop. But now the mainstream is so far from me that I honestley haven't listened to the radio since 2006.

Sure, it may have got its start somewhere, but just because people move on doesnt mean you have to. Try to argue whats real hip hop and you'll be debating till your casket drops.
