that drop goal by Rog... Forever will put a smile on my face.. Had Henson taken that penalty, we were screwed but his confidence was shattered having missed a penalty earlier. That commentry 'making, or not making' will forever be etched in my memory.. March 21st 2009 was the greatest day in Irish History
@omalley241 Yeah, I was watching that final moment today and I gotta admit, I cried a little. :) Just so great to see such a big thing happen for such nice, hard working, guys.
@ROGandBOD:my father wasnt even born when they won it last..!!!! but it was an extremely happy country that day..!! Two days later my best mate went to china workin. You couldnt have had a better send off..!!!!!!!
paddy wallace was very unlucky. he was legally playing the ball so therefore he only had to let go when wayne barnes called "hands off " . but if u watch closely den u see that by the time Barnes sed anything, it was too late - the damage was done. pause the vid at exactly "1:49" and you can see how late it was.
if anything - it shudda been a penalty to ireland.
barnes is lucky that jones missed coz he had a flawless game otherwise overcome by the occassion i tink

The bit where O'Gara was like 'How can anyone give away a penalty in those dying minutes?' made me laugh so hard.
