  • Great song but Terry's Stafford is still my favorite. Maybe it's the horns on Terry's....

  • Elvis is king ! :))

  • lovely and gentle

  • Slight difference

#1 mj was the king of pop

#2 elvis was the king of rock and roll

  • @lambokid20 ..elvis could kick gay little boy toucher michael jacksons girly voiced ass

  • tuuuune

  • This reminds me of someone I know. xxx

  • elvis was better yhen mj

  • Elvis what a good song

  • I don't care what ANY "young folks" have to say about Michael Jackson....he may have been the best "performer" SINCE the MTV generation...but his impact will NEVER be as monumental as Elvis'...Elvis not ONLY changed music forever..he helped change the WORLD for the better...that's something people should never ever forget. RIP KING

  • Elvis reminds me of my grandma ): I miss her.

  • Essa música é tudoooooooooo , o começo dela é envolvente .

  • which 2 voted down are you tone deaf???????

  • This is a Elvis thread-song- post, Not a Michael Jackson post.

So why not just comment on the Elvis song.

I Love both entertainers tremendiously.. lets not compare or knock them.

  • I always Loved this song.

Elvis did it first.. and it was a album track.

Terry Stafford covered it (in Elvis' vocal style)

and had a huge hit single with the song.

  • NOTHINGBUT AMAZING

  • how i love this song!!!

  • Total classic

  • EL REY CON UNA DE SUS MEJORES CANCIONES , ELVIS ERES INCOMPARABLE SIEMPRE SERAS EL REY .....

  • The King's best song!

  • elvis er gud

  • ELVIS PRESLEY FOREVER!!

  • His voice is really stong here but it sounds like reveb I dont think he need it. No one has a voice like this still.

  • Leave Michael Jackson alone. He was innocnet in all charges. I love those two artists and their legacy shall live on.

  • Nobody Tops Elvis Presley.

  • @TheDAT573 1st Elvis then along came Steve Marriott. NICE

  • @TheDAT573 YOU'RE A N00B

  • I love Elvis :)

  • Elvis first got in contact with drugs during his tour in the Army to be able to stay awake during guard duty. Well, that's the official story anyway. Who cares anyway? He had a great talent and dared to be different which changed music forever. The guy is dead. Let him rest in Peace or rock his socks off wherever he is..whatever you believe in...

  • Mrlmsokewl study history moron. "Blacks" as you call them has a more civilized and longer history than white people and besides...everybody has a relative that originates from Africa if you go waaaaay back (study archeology and you'll find out that I am right) so hush you ignorant lil' fool!

and no, I am not black Thought I make that clear before you say something else moronic...

  • michael jackson was a homosexual lamooooooo A typical of blacks they swing all kind a ways lmaooooooooo

  • michael jackson was a homosexual lamooooooo A typical of blacks they swing all kid a ways lmaooooooooo

  • themysticknight the diffrence in Elvis and MJ is Miachael Jackson was a faggot and a Pedophile Elvis wasnt lmaooooooooooooo

  • I love Elvis' version of this song...He nails it.

  • Merci à Mort Shuman d'avoir écrit uine si belle chanteur!!! Merci à Elvis de l'interpréter si bien!!!

  • @Elvis86100 Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman were amazing songwriters. It's a pity the weren´t under exclusive contract to Elvis.

  • what a beautiful voice elvis had, thanks for the nice upload

  • my all time favourite! elvis was the best......love this song so much...

  • What's the footage from?

  • themysticknight

    kellyelvis1

love the comment & themysticknight that is true they didn't

care about mj at all until he died...but Elvis was and always will

    be loved by many...

  • great video great song elvis , i think did the best job. but then again he was elvis

  • One of my favorite Elvis songs, but didn't Terry Stafford sing this originally?

  • @vpirates62 NO Elvis recorded this in 1962 featured on the "Pot Luck album Terry staffords hit was in 1964 However R.C.A released a single version in 1976 (same recording from !962) which hit no 9 in the charts.

  • @vpirates62 yes but they have similar voices (in this song at least)

  • @vpirates62 sorry i take that back presley recorded it in 1962 while terry did it in 1964

  • one of my fav Elvis songs!-he could sing any kind of music..his voice and talent was so unique..thanks!!!(tcb)

  • 'Suspicion' was the first Elvis single I bought. A recording from 1962 a top ten hit back in 1976. Those silly movies he made were pretty popular back then as well as I recall.

Elvis wasn't just about the 50's. And I don't see his career as a mistake.

If were talking about bad decades then you can't get any worse than the 1960's and the 1980's. We're still paying the price for what happened during those periods.

  • @brewdarrymore great shame that he was pushed to do so many of them just for the $ by the colonel. great voice so sad he passed away that early. regards from switzerland

  • It was ELVIS WHO CHANGED and CHARGED THE 1950s, and NOT the 1950s that changed or tamed Elvis. Elvis started in the 1950s, and came along at the right time to bring the 1950s out of social repression, bring sexuality to music, and integrate black and white music. Young people loved Elvis's rebel rocker, "bad boy" style, the girls were turned on, and the parents didn't like him which just made him more popular. Elvis was at the peak of his fame in the years 1956-58 with 17 #1 hits in a row.

  • When Elvis was drafted in 1958, it wasn't the Army that changed him, but just the fact that he served his country, and Col. Parker working to change his image that gave Elvis a more clean cut, all American boy image after the Army. Then there was a decade of mostly silly movies, but Elvis was still Elvis, and proved it in the '68 Special that Elvis did his way for a change, and you can see the results on my channel and though out that TV special. I remember thinking "ELVIS IS STILL ELVIS.'

  • I miss my crayonman rockstar . I allways try not to, but I think of him everyday and try to forget him. I have forgotten him I dont think I love him anymore. yet secretly I hope tosee him one day , I wish I was

  • One of my fav songs...10 Stars

  • How can you not like ELVIS? He is great

  • ♪ Beautiful! ♪

  • Great song!!!

  • i am really getting tired of seeing MJ comments pop up on every single flippin' video I look up. Seriously, wtf?! These people didn't even get into Michael Jackson until he died and they all of a sudden cared. Kind of like Elvis's fans. They didn't give a monkey's butt about him till he died and the same goes for Edward G. Robinson! Poor man got an Oscar AFTER HE DIED!!!

  • Damn true!!

    I agree though..

  • @themysticknight well I dont know that much about MJ fans but I do know elvis fans stood by him when he was alive and even in his passing thats why his fans still celebrate his life throughout the years,Elvis has fans throughout the world from many generations,Elvis never gave up on his fans and his dedicated fans never gave up on him so unless you know elvis ,s fan base I would not make any judgements, just saying not trying to be rude in any way

  • @themysticknight that is because mj had alot of Elvis presley in himself! He was obssessed with Elvis, Fact!! The Divine Freemasonic illuminati all-seeing eye made it this way!! Fact! Elvis went down on the toilet because of the HATRED OF THE MAN OF COLOR! Fact.. So in everyones subconscious mind or within the universal subconscious mind Elvis Presley and michael jackson has been calculatedly intertwined e.g if u were da real Elvis Presley ppl would just find you kinda wierd!! :) poor Elvis!

  • @themysticknight you said true words, respect :)

  • @themysticknight ''Everybody loves you when you're six foot in the ground...'' - John Lennon

  • @themysticknight This is my spontaneous opinion - but since Elvis was heavier during his last years and music (as always) was changing, I guess he was talked about less and less. My sister said "He's still Elvis" even though she noticed he was heavier. When someone dies - we all of the sudden think back in time when they were younger instead of how they were looking at the last. I appreciate your comment though.

  • @themysticknight I see your point, but Elvis was still a hard working performer when he died (sometimes doing 50 cities in 50 days). Its not that his fans forgot about him, they simply became complacent and his premature death shocked them. Also, Elvis's problems were personal (drugs and weight gain) whereas Michael Jackson may have scarred many young boys for life (if their stories are true, and I think at the very least his actions were inappropriate). Also, E's problems were due to treatment.

  • @Billionaireben Yes, and he was very devastated after his mother died. Elvis had a lot of heart he just made some wrong choices, but I think his mother's death is what got to him because she died around the time he started taking a fall for the worst. She died seeing him in that state so he was probably guilty and ashamed by that point which caused his overdose..

  • @Billionaireben excuse me, but michael jackson didn't do anything to boys, he let families into his life and took care of them cause he was a loving person but they just took advantage of his knd nature and when he had enough the turned against him. michael didn't do anything to kids, thats what killed almost killed him, the allegations, it broke his heart. imagine the world questioning you for such crimes against kids. it would hurt beyond repair.

  • @onehotminutex ..haha your dumb, hes a weirdo with dots on his weiner that he let little boys touch

  • @themysticknight Not really... Elvis was loved all over and girls were crazy about him. They loved him as he was alive and dead. When he got married tons of girls had broken hearts, he was loved all the same and even more after death.

  • @themysticknight excuse me, but i loved michael before he died, i saw him live and had tickets to see him at the 02 but yes i agree with you. i'm so tired of elvis videos being filled with michael jackson disses. can't we just let elvis and michael be as individuals without stupid comparasions.

  • Great song this one :D

  • this song is just ooooh i love it. Elvis had the sexiest voice in the world. not to mention the body as well

  • shame it all ended in sadness.

  • only cos ppl wouldnt let elvis be himself. He had to live up to the image 'we' wanted. He felt trapped within himself really. When he was recording the moody blue album he said 'Im tired of being Elvis Presley' And Elvis is still beautiful to me and he's still reacing ppl i dont think that's ended in sadness at all.

  • Mayb like MJ

  • there is nothing wrong with Elvis presley and there never was ok. He was human He got sick. In those days if u get sick ur given pills. amphetamines was prescribed. who was Elvis to question A doctor. MJ was nothing but weird. Leave Elvis out of this and never compare him to MJ.

  • I wasnt comparing Elvis to MJ & I didnt even say there was anything wrong with Elvis OK. I know he was human (IM not thick) and he wasnt well and needed treatment so please dont critisize me thanks.

  • Michael wanted to be something lyk Elvis and even outdo Elvis, married Elvis daughter, wanted to associated with Elvis, asked why they called Elvis king and not him also had a song title heartbreak hotel after a very famous n well known Elvis 56 hit. Michael was infatuated with Elvis & definately wanted to be something lyk. Maybe that's why he's prolly being mentioned in breath as Elvis on every Elvis video after he died. The truth is lyk you said up there Michael Jackson was a real creep.

  • I like want you said mj was nothing but weird and ELVIS is great

  • @kellyelvis1 Very well said

  • 50s America didn't let Elvis to be himself, they had him changed, tamed and altered his natural rock n roll image. That really affected Elvis that's when he really started declining he was only trying to cope in later years especially after the Army tint. They never did that to Michael Jackson who needed it the most, and nothing against michael but the Truth is the Truth and I respect the Truth tremendously.

  • MJ didn't have the manager that Elvis did.

In the begining the Colonel was very good

for E.But the Colonel got very greedy he also took alot of money from E. 25% in the begining then it went to 50% which is unheard of even today. He controled everything E did in his movies and music. The Colonel would not change with the times he treated E like he was a carnival act.The Colonel was a Carney maybe that's why E's mother did not like him or trust him.

  • Colonel Tom Parker was like L.ron Hubbard the founder of scientology who found it after delving in the blackarts. Scientology is exposed todey and everyone knows that it's a phoney spiritual cult like the Colonel Tom parker was a phoney manager for Elvis. Elvis mum hated him I think he got her out of the way! We would have seen a much better Elvis withou that bald head man who taked advantage of the less experienced in the business that threats them with respect. The colonel is a lowlife scum!!

  • You are right, I dislike him so much, he worked Elvis to the ground, while he was gambling $1.000.000 in on night. It is because of him Elvis never toured the world because Parker was an illegal immigrant and would not have been able to return to the U.S. had he toured with Elvis.Elvis was SERIOUSLY ill one night with the deoc puttine his face in ice yet that selfish man insisted Elvis went on stage.

  • I agree.Good statement

  • @Zecalran

    totally agree!

  • They should put 50's America in time out. Bad 50's America.

  • lool 50s America wasn't all that bad but it was seriously ignorant! :(

  • great!!!

  • elvis inspired us all.check out gypwin

  • ... love Elvis singing this great song

  • ah, i love elvis, he is just so hot. i want to eat him! *num num num*

  • id love to lol

  • I love this video Anna I don't hear this song enough...so glad you recorded it....:))

  • Comment removed

  • I like this version better than the other artist who did it.

  • this song was done by other artists before presley you mean?

  • Presley did it first, but it wasn't put out as a single. Terry's version came out later.

  • Yes, that's right, but I was thinking of Bobby Vee. Still, Elvis did the song even before Bobby Vee, too. AND I still like Elvis's version best.

  • BEAUTIFUL SONG

  • IS BEAUTIFUL SONG

  • It's like a Rumba,Perez Prado beat.Great voice,Elvis rules but the production is lacking here.Terry has the better record.This one time only,though.

  • I believe I can sum this up in just a few words - Greatest Entertainer In The History In The History Of Man --

  • Ironically the song was published by Elvis Presley Music. Thanks for posting.

  • elvis reminds me of a young jay leno, without the chin of course. just a random thought.

  • Love this song...certain songs for certain moods.. Txs for putting this up..3 yrs ago went to a casino to see the Jordanaires, was really impressed with their ability to harmonize just like the old days..

  • gotta say theres something i like more about terry staffords

  • terry's arrangement is superior with the backing vocal ,but elvis had the better band and obviously the the quality of the production is evident in the sound . he probably had to make the change so he wouldnt be accused of ripping terry off . i bet they tried it both ways , wouldnt you love to hear that! elvis' backing singers were awesome !

  • ELVIS"'vocals on this song are warm and unique far superior than terry strafford

  • do you see any reference to elvis' vocal in my comment ? i refer to the arrangement of the song. the only reference to a vocal is that of the backing singers on terrys recording . i agree that elvis' voice is the better of the two but i still prefer terrys (or his producers ) arrangement of this particular song . if you read my comments correctly you will see only praise for elvis' band not a critique of his voice

  • ya.. no

  • ELVIS ROCKS LIKE NONE ELSE CAN OR WILL

  • This is my fav elvis song. Reminds me of someone I know.

  • the king lives wow man

  • Enjoy it... nice video, thanks!

  • he is the best he have the best voice ever.... simply he is the god.... he is elvis presley

  • Great song Anna girl.

  • some great footage to go with a quality song...wat a beautiful man!

  • Wow, Elvis Rocks, Cool Song From The King!!!

  • I can't say who sounds better Terry or Elvis? I like both.

  • chixaladymusic I'm with you I like both cuts. Til today I didn't even know Elvis had cut this song at all. I knew many people thought Terry Staford was Elvis. Both Elvis and Terry staford had fantastic vocals they should have teamed them up atleast once.

  • Ral Donner had that same problem......

  • i love that song

  • Love it ! x

  • GREAT,don't know how I missed this one, tcb.

  • Elvis Presley's 2nd Finest Recording. The First Being 'Clean up your own Backyard'.

  • nice video elvis was great five stars.

  • I love this song, and I love that whole Pot Luck album! Gtreat video, thanks!

  • I agree, Pot Luck is one of Elvis' best albums. I have had the vinyl version for more than 30 years. terry Stafford had the hit version of this, but Elvis recorded it first. RCA for some reason did not always release Elvis' best recordings. I also loved Tomorrow is a Long Time.

  • What a joy Elvis brought to those young girls I love their faces...their priceless..hey write when you can no rush....

  • I forgot all about that song and I love it sooo much.....yes smitherjones got canceled and I don't know why his videos are o good...

  • That entire video was absolutely perfect. "Suspicion" should have been a hit for Elvis. I love this absolutely perfect and fun song so very much. Thank you so very much for making and sharing that absolutely perfect video, 5 Stars.

  • I love it! :) Really great!

    Betti

  • yes...those best accounts with many great footages are gone..smitherjones for example..he had lots of great videos.

  • hi nobodynoticedit77, your right so many wonderful elvis footage has gone, which is so sad, i love and respect all the hard work that has gone into these videos, it is such a shame that the powers that be (EPE!!!!) have been deleting them over the past year. so thank you to you, has i have noticed!! your contribution and also to you anna8elvis, for your contribution to elvis is brilliant.

  • great video. be careful with all footages..I have noticed that many accounts have deleted. =( I'm very scared!

  • I love this video!! Very good!

  • beautiful!
