People used to believe that the moon and the sun used to chase each other and were in battle against each other, so the quran denied this.

as we can see according to the bible the earth is older than the sun, which is wrong. and God made morning and night on earth first then made the sun, even though morning and night only exist BECAUSE of the sun and the earth rotating around its axis.

when the Quran is read - it is not sung. its kind of read with melody. it hard to explain. but when reading the Quran there shouldnt be a tune or a reoccuring tune. and the rules of tajweed must be followed. if you follow the rules of tajweed its hard to make it sound like a song because in Tajweed different letters and words have different lenghts. therefor making a reoccuring tune is difficult. hope this answers your question. basically its not supposed to be made into a song. :)

Religion does not exist. Only feelings count and are real, that is what our God sees and wants. he guides me everyday. Do you remove your negative feelings everyday? I dont know anybody that does.

Jesuschrist1 - sory to disapoint u my friend but there is no single verse in the Quran that claims the sun and the moon orbit AROUND THE EARTH.
People used to believe that the moon and the sun used to chase each other and were in battle against each other, so the quran denied this.
The Quran does say that the sun has an orbit and that the moon has orbit which is scientificaly correct since the sun orbits aroud the centre of the milky way. It does not say it orbits the earth

as we can see according to the bible the earth is older than the sun, which is wrong. and God made morning and night on earth first then made the sun, even though morning and night only exist BECAUSE of the sun and the earth rotating around its axis.

The age at which the prophet married Aisha is not fully agreed. Some say she was 15,14,etc. Men at that time marry tens of women. However, he did not marry until the age of 25.At 25 he married and old widdow. After her death he stayed a year without marriage and then he proposed to Aisha who was before him engaged to another man;which signals that girls at the time grow up early and are ready for marriage at young age.JUst 1 reason:Aisha was a young clever girl.

Omer ibn Al-Khattab came to kill the prohet and he heard the Quranic Verses , and he got a plan in his mind that his teachings are the ones will stay and he needs to kill his teachings rather than prophet himself, He Later did the Treaty at Saqifa as soon as Prophet died not even attending the prophet's Funeral,,Saying that he was worried more about teaching rather than prophet's Funeral and Appointed Abu Baker as Khalifa ( who was too old to stay long and eventually he attend power ).

@ jesuschrist1: Your ignorance & lack of tolerance aswell as your presence on an Islamic vid simply disgusts me. Qur'an literally means "to recite or recitation" hence it has to be recited in a special manner takin' into mind all the different rules of Arabic Grammer when doing so. This isn't music. Music, I'd like to remind you is something that which is produced by musical instruments or singers in a structured & continuous manner. The Qur'an on the other hand varies from chapter to chapter!!

And criticisin' the Qur'an or making a mockery outa the Scientific Miracles it contains is illogical try takin' a deep look into your own Bible & find how many Scienitific errors it contains.

When the Quran is read, does it have to be sung? Or is this a type of prayer?

Well this is Quran recitation, nd its not really singing...thts how it is supposed to be recited. The verses rhyme like poetry.

when the Quran is read - it is not sung. its kind of read with melody. it hard to explain. but when reading the Quran there shouldnt be a tune or a reoccuring tune. and the rules of tajweed must be followed. if you follow the rules of tajweed its hard to make it sound like a song because in Tajweed different letters and words have different lenghts. therefor making a reoccuring tune is difficult. hope this answers your question. basically its not supposed to be made into a song. :)
