I'm an automotive photographer. If I hit the shutter I own the image, unless I'm under contract with a client or organization. Toyota can not own photographs from independent photographers unless they are under contract with Toyota. Its bullshit. There are the public photos laws that should overrule this case though. Seriously though, are they going to sue my ass if I take a photo of my car in my driveway and throw it up on myspace? Fuck 'em. Lexus owners have no souls anyways.
