As for religion, Davey has steered clear of that topic a lot, and even joked about it to avoid identifying himself in a category and having people judge him by it.

I dont think any of the songs are particularly about religion. If you think they are, then fair enough. He's said before that different people have different interpretations of the songs.

As for the Christianity-bashing, he's got a right to say what he wants about it. I'm sure we all have our views on it and when pressed we usually say something that isn't completely neutral. From what i can see, he's a singer first and foremost, so whatever he says or thinks isnt anyone else's business.

Davey has really changed in two years. But really, i miss the old Davey. The new Davey focuses on religion way too much and writes lyrics a 10 year old could understand. I must admit tho, the Davey in this vid makes ya fall in love with despair. I love how both Jade and Davey are into the performance. They should get some drum pats in the background along with a sturdy bass line...hmmm maybe even throw in some vocal harmonics.

Aw, Davey's voice sounds so strained in this. I'm not dissapointed though. I know how it feels to lose your voice when you're performing; It sucks. And they tend to play this a little more fast-paced when live. I don't know why though. It's one of their most beautiful songs and should be heard in it's original entirety.
