To be more especific, Zelda is the Princess of Hyrule in Legend of Zelda games. She changes her clothes and apperance, turning Sheik, using her magic spells. I'm wondering: if Link is the hero of this game, why they put " Legend of ZELDA" as the main title?

For your Legend of Zelda thing. I think they did it because ZELDA IS A MAIDEN! And the Link needs to save the only maiden out of 12 so the other madien;s can be revived.
