like i said u can only get the firelancer by a certain random encounter when an alien space ship is shot down and ammo flies everywhere (u cant see the spaceship only its smoke trail and the explosion of where it was) if u look REALLY hard u can find the firelancer as well but it blends in, if this already happened to u but didn't find the gun don't worry it still there just come back with dogmeant

It has also been found under the Anchorage Memorial, and I know someone who found it on the body of a Raider.

thats because if u don't pick it up other npcs might pick it up or themselves and the anchorage war mermorial is a random encounter area

k the firelancer random encounter happened to me but i only picked up the ammo not realizing one of the best guns in the game was there too so if i came back to the place where it happened would the firelancer still be there like hours of gameplay later?

the firelancer is the unique version of the alien blaster (you know like "ol' painless is the unique version of the hunting rifle) it is origanly weaker than the alien blaster but if u get the pyromaniac perk ( its a flame based weapon so it burns people and vaporises them at the same time, go figure) and better criticles perk it suddenly gets 540 damage per shot making the best gun in the game

You still have dogmeaT? i had him untill the end of the game where the final mission is then i did a bunch of side quest before i beat the game AND HE DIED TO A FUCKING RADIO SCORPIOn in hamiltons highway and i was like fuck it im not reloading to save a Follower who cant take on a radioscorpion on full health on NORMAL XD

haha ur such a dumbass. dogmeat isnt there to protect you, he is supporting you by finding ammo and weapons and indicates enemies by snarling...

and if you had any brains you might have recognized that a dog ain`t got no chance against a 3metres mutated RAD scorpion in hamiltons HIDEAWAY... fool

Dont get all emo you worthless shit.. i just didnt want reload again to keep saving his ass Plus he always gets me fucking darts when i ask for ammo and a gun is always a bloody 10 mm gun and chem is radaway ALL THE TIME -_- its easier to just go up to the bodies and loot them myself it take 3 seconds so dogmeat is useless.

in a way... you dont really need him but he is quite useful when scavaging the wasteland for specials like the fire lancer, which I only found after searching for hours when I sent my dog who found it in seconds... besides that dogmeat is the most enjoyable npc in the game. but if you dont need him, let his corpse lay there..

Lol I felt so bad after his death that i made a new file after beating my Main Guys story with 100% completion,So i could just get dogmeat back and keep him through the game :)~

when you check dogmeat for things you can loot it sais dogmeat. Thats evil. Dogs are good. Other animals blow a donkey dick
