All I use are IR air tools. They get used everyday and they never let me down. I just bought an IR 2135Ti MAX to replace an IR 231c. The 2135 has more power, its much lighter and it has the exhaust in the grip. The 231 had a front facing exhaust so I'd get blasted with dust all the time, even if I had my hand near the exhaust. The 231 is a great gun but the 2135 is MUCH better.
i use a 2135timax everyday at work at ford and ive yet to find a bolt it wont bust away with ease, i get people asking to borrow my gun because it gets off bolts that the air cats and snap ons wont..and im talking 10 year old rusted f-250 cross member bolts that will burn up some guns, not saying the air cats a bad gun and especially for the price but im stickin to IR for their renowned longevity
YES IT DOES! my 2135ti that i bought and use everyday at work since 2006 took the crank pully bolt off a 2002 accord. i first tried by co-workers snap-on air gun and it didnt even budge the bolt.
i work t toyota and about 90% of the other techs there use ir titanium impacts. in fact i just bought another titanium last week from cornwell tools. snap on makes a great 1/2 impact gun but its not that powerful when hooked up to a 3/8 air line. BY FARRR the BESTT Impact gun is the Ingersoll Rand Titanium!! its really light and small but still cnt get the rustiest..oldest nuts off a vehicle. and this is NOT someone who works for this company people! i am a ase certified master tech at toyota.
When gauging the performance of our tools at Ingersoll Rand, we test them on actual threaded fasteners, the same way a mechanic would. Because of the number of variables that can be influenced by the person running the test, videos such as this really have questionable credibility. To really understand how these products compare get each in your hand and run them. Also, talk to a technician that has been using them and see which tool is still running strong and which tool is wearing out.
I want this video on my 9110i Communicator unit.

Air Cat weighs more and IMO doesn't handle the same.
I own the 2135iMax and a coworker has the Aircat, there is very little difference in power
