i went on it and.... wow. dissapointed. but if the line wasn't so long, i'd probably go on again just so i can try to slow myself down before i get to the dolphins. although it might have been too blurry anyways.
the dolphin plunge was disappointing but not as much as the lazy river...the picture made it look like a tunnel full of colorful coral reefs and fish but it was really just this square thing with goldfish in it...=(
It's true things always look better on paper. If i made a theme park I would have made everything as good if not better than the original concept art.
I was a little dissapointed with Dolphin Plunge, you couldn't see anything and it all happened so quick! And the joins in the slide grated your back as you slide down!
I was lucky because I went a few weeks ago and there was barely anyone in the park! I froze to death but it was well worth it!
i went to Aquatica and i must have been really lucky because i did this and one of the dolphins was so close to the tube i could see it's eyes, if you do do this ride i suggest that you slow yourself down before the tank so you get a better look.
You need to wait like an hour and the ride is over in about 20 seconds. The dolphin tunnel is only about 5 seconds and it goes so fast you cant see anything but it feels weird
Most of the water slides do have height limits, but the river rides are good for all ages (free life vests are provided), and there are two kids play areas in addition to the two wave pools - it may depend on the kids. It's a nice place to relax though.
If your children like water, then Yes, there's plenty for them to do! I have a 4 & 5 yr old, & they LOVED it! There's an area that's completely devoted to the kids, though the water is a bit rough, it is still very fun for them! (My youngest was still 3 when we went, and that was just a couple of weeks ago). My family loved it, but I must unfortunately agree, the Commerson Dolphin slide is a disappointement..it goes too fast! =( BUT, overall, the park is LOTS of fun, especially for the family!
i think it goes so fast because when u go underwater they dont want u to suffacate under the water so the less time you are underwater the lesser the chance you suffacate
Whatever the reason, it still is disappointing. =( I LOVE sea animals, and the ride just didn't seem to live up to the hype (in my opinion)..but it still was fun. =) I will go again and try different techniques of slowing down and such to see if I can enjoy it better.

I saw a black and white blurry thing when I went on it.. they should make it MUCH MUCH more slower.

to me, this ride was a rip-off
i waited in line for 30 or 45 minutes and the ride only lasts 5 seconds, plus i didn't see one dolphin
the best water slide at the park is the big blue one that seats four people, i got on twice
