I am not sure but i pretty much think that the moral of this story is that in every new Pokemon generation people forget the old one. Gold defeating Red is the example of that but as well as his death. The home that you have teleported was in Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire and the trainer behind the "door" was most likely the hero of Rubby/Sapphire and the message from him means that Gold's generation is over. Every people was hyped for new Pokemon game.

I ain't one of these ppl! I love Pokemon Silver.

This story reminds me of something I've always thought about... Red and Blue have 11 unique Pokemon each and once traded you can just get on with the game, yellow having 13 unavailable Pokemon is similar; G/S onwards relies on trading with previous games for completing the Pokedex, which is the game's fundamental goal. In fact, you CAN'T play the game until you're given that task but people are so interested in trying something new they lose sight of what's important (FRIENDS).

The problem is that, cyandaquil must have tackle, you can't replace flash with tackle, since he only haves 2 moves (tackle and leer), flash when learned, is the 3rd, so it was either hacked, or deleted in move deleter, meaning this was done on purpose so cyandaquill haves no attacks, and no coincidence or glitch. I also doubt about celebi, and pokemon replacing (unknowns), since that requires a lot of rom space, and knowledge about celebi, which at the time, was rare, meaning this is recent.
