@BagpipeHustler Living on St Marks Place for a while and hanging out at CBGB's no doubt helped GOF grasp what punk was and where it came from. Being art students, they of course took it to the next level back in England. Chili Peppers chose Gill to produce their first album. Morello cites him as a major influence. You can definitely hear it.
