just a question for you man, since I'm sure this is a breaking point for alot of guitarists, how do you get past the barrier for practicing scale runs fast between the line of playing it slow, and then to the point where you can't keep tempo unless you are going full speed to keep up with the tempo. seems I can do slow ish and fast, but my problem area seemts to be with whats in between,, I'm sure you have dealt with this in the past. how did you get past that?

@XthrownX It is easier to play faster up and down the neck when the guitar is raised up on the strap. It helps by keeping the guitar's neck more stable than it would be if it were lower.
