@Iohelle The music ruined the show. Yes, the timing is a little awkward, and nothing is ever explained clearly, but the animation is so good it should hold up. The crap calliope music is the wrecking ball that demolishes it.

Every time she's kicking ass, or something emotional happens, you hear that awkward theme song, and every other scene is saturated with the same cheesy pre-play-station RPG synthetic "strings."

At least this nonvocal version of the OP is a little less painful.

Although it is not fully shown in the animated series (targeted at a younger viewing audiance), Dr. Von Reichter was a former member under the Nazi reign who permitted experimentation up until the end of the second world war. Reichter feld for South America where over the decades he profected his experiments and clone a new younger body so he could continue on living. This lead to the creation of the "Cyber" series. A group of 5,000 elite super soldiers.

But when the "Cyber" series began to disobey Von Reichter's he ordered them to all be destroyed. Cybersix was the only one to survive the massacre and as for her brother, Von Reichter transferred Cyber 29's brain into a panther and renamed him Data 7.

This cartoon was so original and the character development was also really good. Unfortunately it never caught on very well in the states due to its name probably. But I think with a little more work and marketing Cybersix could have became a profound icon in animated film history.

You're kind of right. When she was younger, her brother died, and his brain was placed into the body of a panther. Her creator, Von Richtor, killed the rest of the cybers, but she escaped with the help of another creation. While she was wandering around, she came upon a car crash and took on the identity of the boy who had died in the crash. She's just posing as a boy.

First its not actually an anime, this is an Italian made story and series, based on an italian comic book. The end of the tv series she reviels who she is, and saves the city... the show has the explosion just as she opens the door to leave as a cliffhanger but they never continued the series on tv. In the comic's she actually had moved on to a new city in search of the "father" with data 7.

The show takes place in Argentina, and was written in spanish, however it Was translated into Italian later one.

I really wish they had those comics in english, since I cannot read spanish or italian, and my french is very limited.
