Almost a year late, but still, this is a very very elegant solution. I had the double-bond-4-chain just as you, but I could not figure out how to reuse it for this one. Very impressive.
@LAentertainment Getting to this solution was an iterative process and being able to move a start around without a hassle makes it easier to do. After recording this video I noticed it and fixed in the game but didn't want to record again. Good catch though.
I've spend by far the most time on this puzzle. Once I got below 300 cycles the iterative process became extremely addictive.
I can't wrap my head around how people's brains work to come up with this stuff! I mean, I beat the game without cheating, but optimization just makes me want to cry. Simply astounding!
This solution blew my mind. I had no idea you could get away with the molecule not being exactly the pattern requested. I solved one of the "Going Green" challenge with a mirror image of the H2SO4 and it wouldn't take it.. but somehow this is accepted here.. strange rules.
@geekmug As long as the chemical bonds are the same, it's acceptable. The game checks if the molecule is chemically the same. I would guess that you missed one of the double bonds with the H2S04 when solving Going Green.

It's already producing the next one before the first one is even deposited. It's like a quantum atomic gang bang.

so brilliant! but why didnt you do 41 symbols by putting the start one step up and left and looking to the right so you dont need the right arrow?
