Just saw the documentary. This show brought back so many memories. I wasn't really a boyband fan, but the rivalries were so much fun. I'll admit I stopped watching when Carson left and they had 5 vjs who talked more than show the videos. I think those of us in our mid/late 20s are like the last great generation, pop culture wise. The kids these days don't know what they missed.

I grew up with TRL! I still remember when I was little my Neighborhood friends and I would stop playing at 3pm and raise inside the house to watch "TRL is ON! We would yell lol! This was back when TRL was popular as years when on I tuned in from time to time. 1998-2002 TRL was the shitt! Lol

TRL for me was from 1998 to 2004. When 2005 came around that's when the music industry started going down hill with the surge of the generic Disney singers coming in. I completely stopped watching TRL in late 2004. I use to turn on TRL for 20 seconds in 2007 to see what was going on and i seen music artist that i never heard of and the songs were so generic and elevator ready and i said to myself, "is this what people are into these days". So to me TRL went away at the start of 2005.
