they dont remember great artist of days gone by because of the stupid idiotic crap they call country today i tell you it makes me sick today there selling sex not great country music like this. am i eve disappointed in the people behind suppose to country of today i better quit before i use language un becoming a true country fan thank you all for reading.
Grew up not much into country but Wynn lived around the corner from us in SW Arlington,tx in the 60s and my aunt used to play his Pretty World Today song and I really liked it. Recently they played it at her funeral. I have fond memories now of Wynn's music and have great admiration for his style and contribution to country music!
Wynn gave so much to the Bakersfield Sound, and his hits were more pop oriented. Does anyone have a video or recording of Eyes as Big as Dallas to post?
Thanks so much for your posts of Wynn Stewart. I wonder if you could post one of his other great songs, "A Clinging Vine". Its another beautiful song of his. Are you in touch with his daughter?
Thank you, thank you. I listened to this song on a jukebox when I was a cocktail waitress at the "Round Up" on Central Ave. in Albuquerque in 1971. Thank you....

Definitely not a "forgotten artist" on this end. Wynn Stewart was one of country music's giants.
