jamie moses has been playing with brian since 2001 or something like that. it's not the same case, spike plays the keyboard, jamie the second guitar.

spike was the musical director of the freddie mercury tribute concert. also plays with brian in his solo rounds, and was part of The Cross, the second band of roger taylor

spike edney's a very important person to queen fans as apart from morgan fisher ( who we never saw ) is the only other person to play with them live as far as i know on a fairly regular basis

Yes Spike is the regular 5th member for something like 25 years :-) Jamie Moses seems to be taking a bigger role on a regular basis now too. I think this is his second tour with them.
