When strings in dark unison enter at 0'38'' you *know* the arranger has great taste and command...and of course, he is the great Claus Ogerman. This is beautifully sang, and Brazilian Astrud was one of the first to mingle with jazz musicians from USA to sing the *then* new style (to remain classic afterwards) called bossa nova. Far better than Sonia Rosa's tiny and sharp voice version. Hear how she plays with the first phrase's rythm at 0'14''.
