if anyone is selling or giving away any chainsaw or chainsaw parts i will gladly take them i restore chainsaws and collect them, please email me at mtatthehill@yahoo,com
That is just stupid.. find a collector or museum and sell them.. some saws would be worth close to nothing but many of those old rare birds will easily sell for more than 100-200 bucks..
I am not sure why it was done...Maybe they had all of those chain saws and had decided that they weren't worth fixing anymore, or maybe they got too old to use them, but then they must have had someone else put them up there, or maybe they did it to let you know that they are loggers, or woodsmen, or maybe they thought that it was art, or maybe they just did it to be unique or different...I'd have to ask them. Everyone have a great day. These were North West of where I live by a number of miles.
crazy!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you leave those saws in the rain. Why? some of them are rare and valuable to collectors and tree men like my self . some one can steal them and that would suck too! I can haveing one pole but looks like you have about 30 to 60 poles crazy jhust plain crazy. hope I have made you think about the crazyness
Yes, it's different that's for sure, and the "display" is located NW of where I live here, but they're not owned by me, nor is the land where they're located...saw them as I was driving down the road.
Don't really know...the display is somewhere else, while driving I saw them and thought that I'd take a few pictures and a video of them, but I wasn't feeling the best that day and had a back ache, so it was almost painful to stick around for very long while making the video...
Nope, I could sell them to you, and tell you where they are, but they aren't owned by me, and are on someone else's land, so that wouldn't quite be right. LOL
yes but i like working on them to get them running that's the fun part :D there are some very old ones there. i like the stihl you zoom in on at one point.
Yes, mainly because it's different, unusual, etc. I wonder where all those chainsaws came from, family members, relatives, donated by the public, etc.
If you are in Virginia, then you are quite a distance from where these are located, which is in North Central Wisconsin. West of Wausau, WI to Abbotsford, around 32 miles or so, then North on HWY 13 through Medford, WI which is 14 miles North of Abbotsford, then North of Medford until you get to CTH "M," then on "M" West until 1 Mile West of where CTH "M" meets up with CTH "E." They're located along CTH "M," one mile West of where CTH "E" goes North off of CTH "M." Hope that didn't confuse you.

That's the most awful sight I've ever seen. Like leaving Cremonas or Da Vincis to rot. Horrible. Indeed!!

What a fucking waste! Wish i knew where these were cause I would slowly steal them. It's a shame to let them sit out and rot away like that!

Bernie,
Truly amazing and enjoyed seeing it! What happens if I need a spare ignition for my Mac 250? Will you climb up and retrieve it for me?!
Best wishes,
Bob
