It doesn't look too good for the US in the next few years. Come to Australia, we need people here and we have much less debt to worry about. $0 federal government debt.

No government debt, wow. I know people from college that moved there, and they are happy. I would love to move but all of my family is rooted here.

Sounds good, but your prior PM seemsed to agree a bit too much with GW Bush (though your current one is hopefully better).
AFAIK, there are still age limits with regards to immigrating to Australia, with anyone 55 & older being limited to a retiree visa.
