very well done. nice cuts and transitions, it really keeps the feel of the song as well as her coughing up the blood like that. just a tip for next time, make the blood darker and for the gunshot use a ziploc bag with a fire cracker but put something between the person and the fireworks of course. i still think you should of won.

Hey thanks man! I actually just used adobe premiere pro to edit this. I did some of the titles "motion tracking" frame by frame, and did a layering effect to give the titles the background blur that they have (its easier to notice that in high quality).

My only criticisms is the ending scene could have gone differently. All the way through, I pictured someone saying "It's always the quiet ones". I just wish that could have been incorporated somewhere.

For the record, that rifle looks like it's an M1-Carbine. It's recoil is nothing "tremendous" my little sister could shoot that thing accurately.

You must not be familiar with firearms. I asked my brother (a member of the US Navy SEALs EOD Unit) about the matter and he confirmed that even if the gun knocked you flat on your ass with recoil, that it only applies to successive shots. The first one will always ring true.
