hey man i just bought that same exact fender eliminator kit from cbrheaven for my 2010 Leyla edition cbr600rr and i was just wondering how difficult ur install was on it? i read on some forums it was a pain in the ass but.
Did this kit come with the necessary wiring to connect it. I don't have the stock fender. Did u have to cut any wires from the stock fender? If you did then I'm screwed.
@UncleBOPiLOPLOP stops you from scratching your shit if you drop the bike. Saves the fenders and engine case which are very pricey to replace. and Also helps stop you from being trapped under the bike during a lowside stack. good investment to any bike,
Can you tell me what model of Alarm system you've got? I'm looking to get one for my 08' CBR600rr too, and I'm not sure which one I should go for. I was checking out the 866F and it looks pretty good...
Please answer my question soon, im 17 years old been riding four wheelers since 3 years old had a few dirt bikes, What bike would you suggest for me? Id really like a Cbr 600 or maybe gsxr 600. But what would you suggest?
@ExGBON3S Honestly I never recommend a racebike to someone who hasnt ridden sport bikes before so I would say neither. I would suggest a used street version that is tuned differently. (FZ6R, SV650SF, GSX650SF). Then get MSF, and advanced MSF qualified. Ride for a year or 2 then sell it and upgrade. You will be a much better rider than most on the road that just want to show off that they have a RR bike. Hope this helps.
@ExGBON3S If you are 16, and you have to ride a MC, then maybe it would be a good idear to start on a 250CC or a Kawasaki ER6F, they are cheap, good looking and very good in general! Dont bye a bike with to much power, YOU wont be able to use it anyway!
Any race bike RR is very unpractical in a city anyway. If you are not going to race it on trackdays, and use it on the motorway, then bye an F version or street version in stead. They are more practical, comfortable and you still look good:-)
Great job on the bike man. I have the same one. I am trying to decide what to do for the fender eliminator. Did you try completely removing the old fender? I am wondering what it will look like. Did you look into any other kits?
@fifielcoolio yup, I'm not sure about the 600 but my old cbr1000 sank into my driveway from the weight of the bike pushing down on the kickstand. Wasnt too happy lol
Well, im 20, have my license and looking for a first bike. I've been riding bikes (dirtbikes and I've rode my friends R6 over 20+ times) for a while. I know how powerful these bikes are and I fully respect them. I'm looking to buy my first bike soon and I'm wondering if an R6 or a cbr 600 would be a good choice? I'm 6' 140 lbs. small frame. Again, however, I understand these bikes and fully respect them and I'm not trying to get a street bike and push it to its limit.
@cl0ckw0rx These bikes are powerful enough and I'm not looking for a bike for just power. I'm looking for a bike that's comfortable, handles well, and something that I can have for 6 years instead of buying a 250cc that I'm going to get bored with and want to buy a bigger bike in a year
@MouMusics I'm guessing it gets pretty hot out there where he lives, and the asphalt gets pretty soft on those sunny days. Depends on the mixture though.
yeah i know, but it needs so high temp to melt asphalt... it isn't likely to get that hot.
why shouldn't it be a good choice? yeah it's quite expensive, but has good handling.
in my case it was a child dream and sometimes it is stupid to do something, but if it's your dream then you should do it. and i do not regret anything. this bike is awesome.
im asking 1 question and please reply as soon as you can!! I am 16 and i love bikes very much im 180cm tall and weigh around 70 75 killos. I want to buy a good quality motorcycle im not buying it for stunts or do stupid things on the high way.. just want to enjoy riding! I want to ask the experts is this a good bike for riders that dont have lot of expirience or its too much! Im expecting answer soon thanks!
@181jose I never recomend an RR or R6 / R1, or GSXR as a beginners bike. Just my opinion. I would say if you want a bike to enjoy riding without the race aspect, look into the yamaha FZ series or the any non Race style bike. If you are just another kid looking to ride a bike that makes them look bad ass, then get whatever, you will wreck it anyhow. Good luck, hope this helps.
@avsoldier hey im about to be 15 i ride motocross and i wanted to get a street bike i ride a rmz250 and i was thinking about getting an r1 r6 or cbr 600rr
@181jose if your starting out riding and just want to ride then get something like a ninja 250...small and light but can still push 100...then after you get comfortable with that and decide you want something bigger then go bigger! just ride safe
@181jose I'd say kawasaki ninja 250 and the Honda cbr 250 are pretty nice bikes with around 45hp (other 250cc racers are also generally good as they are light and nimble which is why they are such good beginner bikes). I'd say, don't go over 200kg of weight and not over 100hp and you've got yourself a good beginner's bike.
@181jose my first bike was actually a 600cc bike but an older one, so only 100hp as opposed to the 125hp you see today. The only reason I bought it was because it was very cheap and in need of repairs, which kept me from using all it's power. I'm actually thankful of the limitation that It had and now I'm a much better rider. A fully functional 600cc bike probably would have killed me back then. I'm happy that my friend, who also rides, is very level headed and keeps me from doing stupid things.
@181jose only advice i can give ya is be sensible..kids get carried away to quick and soon on bikes..everyone eventually has a spill on one of these..do you think a 165 mph machine is a good choice to start off on i dont..experience says low cc`s starting off and slowly advance up the cc`s with road experience..a cruise on one of these machines can turn into a gp session very easy..just remember its the sudden stop that kills..more likely !!
@181jose I just bought a 97 CBR600 F3, and I'm by no means a crazy motha fucka when it comes to riding, but it's got a lot of power. I'm 19, got my permit and rode a bergman and a vulcan for a few months. Throttle control and taking the motorcycle safety course and wearing gear is a must!!
over in the uk you can only ride a 33bhp as a learner, so thats why I asked but loads of other countries let newer riders get on a 250 - 600+ pretty daft considering they are a new rider and sat on so much power but hey ride hard and ride well i say.
@181jose I agree get a Yamaha FZ6N, Suzuki SV650SF, Kawasaki ER6F or something like that. Or else you will DIE!!!
I bought a Naked Black Yamaha FZ6N 2006, and I am glad that I did.
I have had some close calls, and I would like to think that the reason i did not get hurt or killed is because this bike is not an RR version. Theres plenty of power in a 600CC street bike.
Bye a bike like this, and learn to ride for 1-3 years, then upgrade to what ever kind of bike you like.
@th3docta I have the same decision to make, but Im leaning toward a cbr because its a whole lot more comfortable and rider friendly. It really depends on what your looking for, an r6 is real good on the track and quicker than a cbr. But Im not planning on going to fast any way. So it really comes down to personal prefrence.
I don't ride bikes but I really want one of these sexy things or an older one than get a new one, fucking sexy ass bike, Honda is better then all!!!!!!!!! SEXY
@ avsoldier I wished I knew who you had insurance with because I've been paying just under 300 a year for liability on my 03 600rr. I'm a few years older than you, have a clean record and am in GA as well. Would you say I'm getting reamed for 300 a year. Oh and btw, your bike is slick as hell I love that color.
im thinkin of gettin a motorcycle and my first choice is a cbr600rr...this all black is legit, and youre exhaust system sounds really good...all in all, im jealous..have fun with that!
nice bike man, alot of my friends have really nice cbr's and urs is definitly just as nice as ive seen them. Did you do a slip on only or did you change out your entire system
Hey man do you think this bike would be good for me? I am 5'6 and I need my feet to be able to sit flat on the ground. And also, how much do you think it would be to pay for one by the month instead of buying it full price? Including insurance? Im 18.
@Nitrous1081 If this would be your first bike i do not suggest get a cbr, while they are my favorite bike the cbr 600 is much faster than any other 600 out there. In my experiences I have found a good bike to start off with is a ninja 250. That was my first bike and I'm 6'1 240 n had no problems. If you really want a 600 save yourself the cost of purchase and insurance and get a katana, still sporty and cost a heck of alot less than ur typical crotch rocket
damn man, respect! got the same bike but not as nice as yours, but at the same guess it cost a bit........But gonna by the 2 brothers love the sound, do you know if i must put power commander and the kn filter on?
Hey, this bike is very very nice, I like all the work you put into it. I was just wondering though if it's a good bike for a girl...I've ridden dirt bikes all my life and I'm looking into buying a street bike now, Would you recomend this bike or should I just look around more? I'm about 5'6 and I've never ridden on a bike like this. If you, or anyone else who knows alot about this bike could tell me I'd appreciate it Thanks =)
never drop this bike...the color scheme is perfect. im thinking of a matte black full body color with a kind of light colored grey\black camo pattern on mine. we have the same taste in colors bro. nice bike
Its a cool bike for sure but the graffiti part of it is just stickers. I work for Honda and I was washing one of these; the decals were already starting to come off. (not because of anything we did they're just not always suck on the best.) so be careful with em man.
I like all the modifications you made man its a pretty sick bike. i'm an R6 owner, wish i had an alarm on my bike so my friends wouldnt keep fuckin around on it. Laughed my ass off when the honda civic went by and you were like "weak" thats exatly what im thinking everytime i see one of those damn things with a cheesy exaust, its funny to think that super sport 600s have more horsepower then some of the early civics :D

if i've never rode a motorcycle, but am willing and psyched to start taking MSF course and to ride a motorcycle, what bike do you think will be appropriate. i want one with sick sound and a fast one.
note, i want a really good one to begin with because i can get used to the speed more. i do not intend to speed like a maddog with the bike, but to improve and get better faster.
i was considering kawasaki 250r ninja but its like 250cc. i may sound arrogant but i want to own* a fast motorcycle
@o0jun0o tbh if u want to fast that early in the game anything with two wheels may kill u... even a 250cc. checkout ashfoot youtube channel. she is 5'4" and never riden a bike before, bought a 600cc gsxr before taking the msf test. she is doing quite well. so its more of the character of the individual than the cc of the bike really. first time i ever ridden a bike was on a 750 gsxr....then a fz6r. a healthy dose of respect would have u respecting the throttle and taking ALL precautions
take those reflectors off bro. lol i have the sdame bike ill post pics of it. just finished it. full akra exhaust sprocket kit fender eliminator pc3 fitted front signals plus a few more on my 08 graffit. so sick nice bike.
i have the same bike a little different mods though. i went full akrapovic exhaust system cause it sits flush with the seat and doesnt get hot period. that tank bag is cool man... good idea. also went with the tripageled integrated tail light system, im in cali and cops r dicks so gotta have the plate where they can see it good otherwise just another reason to pull u over. anyway sick bike bro. i got mine new too. great bike.
i got a question you may find a bit dumb. does the exhaust make the seat hot? im thinking of buying one of these but dont want to if i can only ride it in 10 minute periods. The reason i ask is because the exhaust runs straight under the seat.
@nitrousninja1 No the seat does not get hot enough to be even uncomfortable, and I even removed the stock heatshield. I have ridden the bike 500 miles in one sitting with my girlfriend on the back and their were no problems. Now just so u know, this is a carbon fiber slip on exhaust system which dissapates heat better than stock exhaust, but I have never heard anything bad about stock either because of the heatshield. Good Luck!
one question...where would you put your helmet...or what would you do to it...if you drove somewhere...and dont wan't to carry your helmet with you ? ... i just don't know where to put my helmet :S
Sick bike man. Im lookin to pick up an 07 myself. Does the 07 600rr come in this paint as well because I havent been able to find it? Love the mods, good work.
nah man dont settle for liability. i have the red 08. trust me, u crash that thing on the street, chances are its totaled.. it hits a gaurd rail, total, highside, total.. stolen ====???? guess?? TOTAL haha. and ditch the CBR heaven FE, will melt after awhile. props on the alarm system.
How did you make that tail bag?

FFS, all these kids asking if superbikes are a good first bike.
NO, it is not. It's like asking if sharp knives are good to learn how to juggle.
Get a naked 250, learn on it, drop it a few times and ride it for a year. you will have so much more fun than you would on any superbike.
1. A 250cc will forgive your dumbass mistakes. An R1 will send you off the back, nice way to destroy a $15,000+ bike
2. You can push the bike to its limits, Do that on an R1 and it will eat your fucking face off.

i cant decide on a r6 or cbr600rr, any thoughts???
th3docta 1 year ago
@th3docta I have the same decision to make, but Im leaning toward a cbr because its a whole lot more comfortable and rider friendly. It really depends on what your looking for, an r6 is real good on the track and quicker than a cbr. But Im not planning on going to fast any way. So it really comes down to personal prefrence.

Hey man do you think this bike would be good for me? I am 5'6 and I need my feet to be able to sit flat on the ground. And also, how much do you think it would be to pay for one by the month instead of buying it full price? Including insurance? Im 18.
Nitrous1081 1 year ago
@Nitrous1081 If this would be your first bike i do not suggest get a cbr, while they are my favorite bike the cbr 600 is much faster than any other 600 out there. In my experiences I have found a good bike to start off with is a ninja 250. That was my first bike and I'm 6'1 240 n had no problems. If you really want a 600 save yourself the cost of purchase and insurance and get a katana, still sporty and cost a heck of alot less than ur typical crotch rocket
fu2612 1 year ago
damn man, respect! got the same bike but not as nice as yours, but at the same guess it cost a bit........But gonna by the 2 brothers love the sound, do you know if i must put power commander and the kn filter on?

Hey, this bike is very very nice, I like all the work you put into it. I was just wondering though if it's a good bike for a girl...I've ridden dirt bikes all my life and I'm looking into buying a street bike now, Would you recomend this bike or should I just look around more? I'm about 5'6 and I've never ridden on a bike like this. If you, or anyone else who knows alot about this bike could tell me I'd appreciate it Thanks =)

never drop this bike...the color scheme is perfect. im thinking of a matte black full body color with a kind of light colored grey\black camo pattern on mine. we have the same taste in colors bro. nice bike

joeaccord23 1 year ago
Its a cool bike for sure but the graffiti part of it is just stickers. I work for Honda and I was washing one of these; the decals were already starting to come off. (not because of anything we did they're just not always suck on the best.) so be careful with em man.

I like all the modifications you made man its a pretty sick bike. i'm an R6 owner, wish i had an alarm on my bike so my friends wouldnt keep fuckin around on it. Laughed my ass off when the honda civic went by and you were like "weak" thats exatly what im thinking everytime i see one of those damn things with a cheesy exaust, its funny to think that super sport 600s have more horsepower then some of the early civics :D

if i've never rode a motorcycle, but am willing and psyched to start taking MSF course and to ride a motorcycle, what bike do you think will be appropriate. i want one with sick sound and a fast one.
note, i want a really good one to begin with because i can get used to the speed more. i do not intend to speed like a maddog with the bike, but to improve and get better faster.
i was considering kawasaki 250r ninja but its like 250cc. i may sound arrogant but i want to own* a fast motorcycle
o0jun0o 1 year ago
@o0jun0o Just buy an old 250 and see how you get on with that or borrow a friends not a good idea to go straight to a big bike
NoFukinNamesLeft 1 year ago
@o0jun0o tbh if u want to fast that early in the game anything with two wheels may kill u... even a 250cc. checkout ashfoot youtube channel. she is 5'4" and never riden a bike before, bought a 600cc gsxr before taking the msf test. she is doing quite well. so its more of the character of the individual than the cc of the bike really. first time i ever ridden a bike was on a 750 gsxr....then a fz6r. a healthy dose of respect would have u respecting the throttle and taking ALL precautions

one of the best looking CBR's!! Nice job modding it! Laughed my a** off when you said 'weak' :D
Thomazz46 1 year ago
i have the same bike a little different mods though. i went full akrapovic exhaust system cause it sits flush with the seat and doesnt get hot period. that tank bag is cool man... good idea. also went with the tripageled integrated tail light system, im in cali and cops r dicks so gotta have the plate where they can see it good otherwise just another reason to pull u over. anyway sick bike bro. i got mine new too. great bike.
sonofipswich1 1 year ago
i got a question you may find a bit dumb. does the exhaust make the seat hot? im thinking of buying one of these but dont want to if i can only ride it in 10 minute periods. The reason i ask is because the exhaust runs straight under the seat.
nitrousninja1 1 year ago
@nitrousninja1 No the seat does not get hot enough to be even uncomfortable, and I even removed the stock heatshield. I have ridden the bike 500 miles in one sitting with my girlfriend on the back and their were no problems. Now just so u know, this is a carbon fiber slip on exhaust system which dissapates heat better than stock exhaust, but I have never heard anything bad about stock either because of the heatshield. Good Luck!
