Kinda makes it more emotional when you already know that this song was used in the episode where one of the coolest character in anime died, and when you heard this remixed theme in the movie, it's a bloody massacre with this song in the background. It makes you think 'it couldn't get any worse than this', but at the same time gives you comfort and strength to move on agaisnt all odds. Just beautiful.

I think this version has more emotion it than Empty Diamond Crevasse.
