The point of SUVs is that the husband dumps the wife and kids in the SUV so that the wife can do the mundane things like the school run and soccer practice, while the husband zooms around town in the Corvette or Ferrari. LOL that is what I thought initially. Over here we dread the invasion of bad American cars but when I saw the dodge nitro in person, I though 'well if I have to drive a brash ugly 4x4, It would have to be a Nitro as it is £40,000 cheaper than a cayenne or a range. I actually drove one last week and it had a wierdly positive effect on me which I cant explain.

Ha! I have to laugh...I think Dodge decided to try and make a half-price Range Rover Sport. Over here, you rarely ever see them, as they don't sell well. My wife has a Jeep Liberty (that she loves and I hate), and that's the platform that the Nitro is based on...

I wonder what car insurance is like over in the States. In the U.K, I will not get insured on anything remotely fast or exciting. So for now, I have to stick to my Ford Fiesta (bet you never heard of that) Its a piece of junk with a 1.4 litre engine and does 0-60 in....13.5 secs!

this is more pricyer and there is still a turbo s model with 520hp.....the fx50 is 0-60 in 5 sec flat the turbo s is 5.2 sec......the one that they tested in the video is 5.6 sec...i love both cars though cayenne is a bit pricy at 133k....fx50 may have more luxury features & 390hp
