Vernon Reid is such a badass riffer and rythm player.. The riff from 'Cult of Personality' is one of the greatest riffs of all time! but his lead phrasing isn't very musical.. just sounds like he is insecure and trying to prove something.. His fast playing sounds too chaotic.
