Im in metal fabrication 10 in my highschool. We have a kid in out class, and he is the biggest idiot ever. and the teacher doesnt realise it... When he goes to set up the O/A torch, he turns on the acetylene like 5-6 full turns, pushes the regulators into 15 PSI, and then does the same with the Oxygen... You have to be a fucking idiot to do that... Acetylene is uncontrollable over 15 psi... Cant believe he passed his safety test...
There are all grades of welders. SOme are paid consultancy fees to weld stuff like nuclear reactors or Turbine Blades,or any section that are critical . (bridges,Tunnel boring Machines). I remember when once welders from SOuth Africa were brought in just to weld steel sections in a bridge.Only retards could think that welders are retards.
thanks for the video. people who enjoy you tube videos dont realize people on their own post these. If some one will explain how, I have some i would like to post for people to enjoy
hard work can be. I want to try out! :)

I counted that sheet to be 1500$. Over 1000$ all the materials, work, testing and 500$ go backward..
Its very looks like a very crude&"dumb" approach, but as long as there is somebody who will pay for that, there will be explosion welding.
UTubeisSHIT523441 5 months ago
@UTubeisSHIT523441 crude and dumb approach? Ide like to see you weld aluminum to steel by hand. and test it for strength...
racerc2000 3 months ago
@UTubeisSHIT523441 how else are you going to weld giant sheets of steel and aluminum together?
jvigil2007 1 month ago
@jvigil2007 with two sheets, some torch and some hammering, which is teoretically exactly what they do.. Althought its a bit quicker:)

I knew that modern icebreakers have explosion-welded ice belts, but I had never seen a video about how it's actually done.

Sorry to point out to the critics of true welding:it's proven that welders have a very high IQ.

So has my father who is a boilermaker!.

yes but everyone knows welders are retarded.
whiteboy7890 2 years ago
Tell that to my father, a stainless steel welder for over 34 years.
Welders are not retarded. They are one of the backbones of American ingenuity. Retards are people who do not understand those who do the dirty work.

@feldschpah Respect dude. Welders have a tough job. And any job has it's science to it. Thinking some jobs are easier than other its just not right.
