I've heard that people have issues with the tulip tuners, would I be ok putting 12's on one? I just purchased this same exact guitar. Just seeing what you might think, thanks - Jeff

Unter den wirklich alten ES-335 Gitarren (also keine "Reissues", d.h. Wiederauflagen etc.) sind die "Dots" am begehrtesten, weil die seltensten und ältesten und - wie viele meinen - auch die besten. Block inlays gab es erst ab Anfang der 60er Jahre auf 335ern.
I buy some guitars every week. Sometimes, I buy them: - just for reselling - for playing on stage and selling - to keep them - to keep them and sell them years later - to trade - I traded in when I sold another one - I keep them forever (only my 1968 Golstop with PAFs..) so - everything is possible... It's my job: making music, CDs, doing concerts, selling guitars. (It's a great job). Ok, this is just another answer I have to store for the next question like this. :-)
According to Greg, his Gary Moore aged les paul feels and sounds exactly like his '59, except for the out of phase middle position of course. Besides, his favorite guitar is his 1968 goldtop with PAFs, so he doesn't need a 1959,
