Socialist confuse Corporatism with Capitalism. In fact we have been taking huge strides toward Socialism since the early 1900s mainly starting with the FED and FDR. It seems as if the masses with in Capitalism will cry for Socialism which will eventually turn toward Communism which is State Capitalism. If we can get back to our founding fathers idea of real free markets and less government and disburse power to the people we can return to a libertarian capitalistic society that protects freedom.
How is capitalism decaying when socialism has failed every single time it has been used evidence of its decay would be nice instead of saying how capitalism sucks and showing examples of capitalism tearing down socialism but saying how great it is this video didnt really make much sense it was like blah blah socialism is great heres our examples berlin wall with pist off people about it saying it dont work then we show a spray painted wall in baghdad that says socialism idk this video is crap a
@spade760100 Capitalism needs constant growth and constant resources to work, and it needs a work force to make all the products. How do you turn a bigger profit? Pay your workers poorly. And what do you have? A system that makes a handful of people really rich and everyone else poor, all while straining ecosystems that give us the resources in the 1st place. Capitalism tries so hard to hold itself together and just fix all it's mistakes when the basis of capitalism makes the collapse inevitable
WHY STOP EQUALITY WITH MATERIAL THINGS WHY NOT DEMAND EQUALITY AS SEXUAL JUSTICE.
ALL BEAUTIFUL WOMEN WHO MARRY RICH GUY ARE EVIL HEARTLESS PPL , SUCH WOMEN SHOULD BE FORCED TO HAVE SEX WITH POOR UNATTRACTIVE MEN TO ENSURE SEXUAL JUSTICE.
SAME FOR MEN , ALL RICH GOOD LOOKING MEN TO BE FORCED BY GOVERNMENT TO DATE UGLY FAT WOMEN TO ENSURE JUSTICE.
China,Brazil and Venezuela may be socialistic, but they primarily accrue wealth through huge reource exports.China has some of the largest trust funds trading in the world. These nation's preach social equality when speaking of people, but the way they do business is pure capitalism.Socialism = equality through poverty and state control.
@pwnyourpuzzhole Those aren't Socialist countries. Anywho, regarding the video, I talked to a romanian guy, he said that there was no revolution, no sign of popular uprising, in romania.
Capitalism wouldn't have collapsed if the huge manufacturing base and millions of jobs were not outsourced; it's the few elites on top who are determined in bankrupting the US and their greed which is ruining this great nation.
@JaysThoughts Federal Reserve was created BY Capitalists FOR Capitalists. For Industry, Business, for Corporations, not just for "bankers". The purpose was bottomless well of credit to expand US global financial hegemony all corners of globe, and push everyone on dollarized economy. That occurred. So did IMF World Bank loan sharking w private banks, Argentina, Mexico, Thailand, etc. Petrodollar recycling to Wall St worked. Now, hyper inflating to help global banks profits/takeover.
@dilbertgeg Blaming all capitalists for what a VERY select and small group bankers and businessmen did on Jekyll Island is like blaming all Muslims for 9/11. That's far too wide a brush to be painting with and I think since that time the strata between capitalist thinking- that every man has a right to exist for his own sake also means no one has a right to sacrifice others who also have that right to themselves.. has split a chasm between that and the purely Corporate thinking.
See, the way I see it, all ideologies can work, but they don't because of the moral and intellectual structure of society. When people are immature and can't do things for themselves, then you need controlling and centralizing forces to shift them up, like old empires (although it never worked practically because the ones in power need to be as perfect as god or a supercomputer), but then as society matures, we move onto more liberating ideas (limited gov't, free markets). Maybe soon, Anarchy...
@RaptillaMajor More accurately, I should say the ideologies don't end up filling perfect needs because they only are model for a certain maturity level of society, as people become more mature or drop in intellect (as with recent years), it will be time to move between the ideologies. It's hard to get the ideal settings for every particular ideology, however, because of the criteria they demand to work (as with the supercomputer/god requirement to manage socialism/communism/dictatorships).
@RaptillaMajor As see Anarchy as the only solution. It would open up unlimited structures of ideals, and motion within the framework of Society. If you dont like one place, move to another. The great thing about it would be ideals would change; sometimes drastically, from one County to another. The Human element of power seeking would have to be closely watched though, and anyone advocating power structure would either leave of their own will, or ran out.
@rea1001 There would eventually be a consolidation of power hungry People in one geographical location. This would be the place for them, where they can act like dogs and eat each other. The only problem would be they would eventually move outward from their eating utopia, and try to subvert the rest of Society. Technically, we have seen this process throughout History. The killing off of Indigenous culture is a prime example. So the expectation of this should be there from the start.
@rea1001 Yes, even if there was total Anarchy throughout the world at this moment, peoples' levels of maturity and intelligence would quickly dissipate all the good Anarchy would offer. While Anarchy should be the goal of future humanity to achieve (considering it means Heaven on Earth), it will only be possible when there are no "bad eggs" around, and thus a spiritual evolution, or an enlightenment, first has to take place, if possible.
@RaptillaMajor I think anarchy is pretty majorly misunderstood but I too absolutely hope we get to that point of human maturity some day- where no man need claim power over another or to initiate force because every man is rightly self governing. If the existence of true freedom, rational self interest, mutual benefit..if these things are not our ultimate goal..forget the naysayers who say it will "never happen"..if we are not at least striving for THAT.. what the hell is this all for.
i think the problem is monetarism ... capitalism, comunism, socialism etc etc ... all of them depends of money ... if we cant leave monetarism ... we gonna be enslaved by money for ever
@treez78 "the government can give you clothes and a place to live food to eat free health care etc..." well, i think people have tried that in america before and its called SLAVERY"
It was not the government who enslaved people in America, it was private enterprise; the slave owners living virtually for free, not the slaves. Slaves were paid nothing and the wealth of their labor went to the slaveowner, not the slaves. Slaves also had no legal rights whatsoever.
The problem with socialism and communism lies at the heart of its centralization mechanism. The minute a centralized plan, thought out by the nature of the flawed mind of human beings, dictates how an economy is run is the minute the butterfly effect is restricted and the economy is doomed to fail. Many today blame Capitalism on today's economic problems, when really the market has been centralized over the years in the US, by both government and Wall Street, in opposition to a free market.
@RaptillaMajor Also, referring to an ancient Chinese school of thought, Confucianism I believe, "The less the King does, the more that gets done." This essentially means that the less there is centralization (although in today's case centralization is from both government and monopolizing market forces like big corporations), the more the free market is allowed to prosper and deliver benefits to the local people.
@treez78 Yes Socialism is based on a form of slavery. With the Elitists, those who are educated and rich, who think they know better than the rest of us, how to take care of every thing for us. Etc... Rule over everyone else. Kinda like the Democratic party right now !
The problem is that people need to understand that Capitalism is fine. It is the Fed & big government restrictions and regulations that is killing it. Let it be free and it will adapt to every need that the consumers want. Every level and every item. As a resident of America, I can tell you that if the free market was pure, I could open my own small business and make ends meet. With all of the costs. licenseing, taxes, health care, provisions, regulations ect, included, I can't turn a profit.
@DKPrepper That only proves that you are very ignorant. Capitalism is the biggest cause of the pollution of our planet, the non-cooperation of governements & NAVO wars. It also feeds the egoism of mankind and results in more hatred and difference between each other. It's results in poor people either not having the chance or having a small chance of becoming successful in life, despite how much potential they have in becoming the next Einstein etc.
@DevoutSkeptic Actually capitalism worked fine until the government got involved and enacted policies that stated it was everyones right to own a home. I'll take our system any day over Stalins gulogs, Saddams torture chambers, Cuba's poverty and Hitlers gas chambers any day. Study history....be careful what your asking for.
@benzomelon So you honestly mean to tell me you want to go back to the days when there were no regulations, so if you lost your leg on the job, you'd just be screwed and unemployed? Do you want to o back to the days when monopolies controlled everything? Do you want to go back to the days when corporations were not accountable for the safety of their products, and health standards in the work place? All I'm saying is, PURE capitalism is as bad as communism. Regulation is needed for it to work.
@DevoutSkeptic I never said that. We have safety nets...We have work mens comp, Monopolies? where?, companies accountable for their products? We have that, it's called FDA, health standards in the workplace? we have that it's called OSHA..maybe these agencies should be strengthened? I don't know, probably. But to say capitalism is as bad as communism. I would greatly disagree with you. The poverty rates and genocide that came with communism and fascism I could do with out.
@benzomelon I'm not saying capitalism is a bad as communism, I'm saying PURE CAPITALISM is as bad as communism. Pure capitalism is a system in which there is no government involvement in the economy, and the market is completely unregulated and free. So, my point is that both systems at their purest suck, and that the middle is the best. Remember we have a Mixed Economy, not a Pure Market Economy.
@DKPrepper Socialism (and not in the way it is advertised in the USA) brings difference to the last part. Communism being a great theory is proven many times that it is not practicable in any way. Socialism is no system that can survive alone is is not meant to be used this way. Capitalism can result in better science & technology but the way it is run today is bad for the planet, the people and the animals (i.e. environmental destruction, class difference, multi-nationals corruption, etc.).
@DKPrepper None of these three is a solution to the problems we are having nowadays. My opinion is that we should change the way Capitalism works (by decreasing its dominance), look at Communism and see how we can eradicate the difference between rich & poor and have Socialism keep an eye on the Capitalistic system and make sure the less fortunate get a fair chance. That's just to explain it with a few words. Today's democracy doesn't work at all because it's not true democracy!
@Isoik Part of the egoism of mankind and the hatred and differences made because of competition from "Capitalism" is because the population is not very mature and/or intelligent. The correct solution, I believe, is that the people who are less mature or intelligent need their lives centralized and controlled (by non-man forces), whereas the intellectual and mature need a good amount of freedom. After all, no law is written until it is broken.
@RaptillaMajor Also, this is the reason why if Heaven existed, its government type would be Anarchy (the lack of laws, where the butterfly effect is in full swing and running strong), as there is no such thing as a "bad egg" in Heaven (they're all supposedly in Hell). As humanity evolves to become more intellectual, moral, and spiritual, and as "bad eggs" get weeded out over time, humanity then gets closer and closer to achieving a "Heaven on Earth", or achieving total Anarchy.
@RaptillaMajor Also, it would be doing injustice if I didn't explain the "Capitalist" reference. You see, "bad eggs" will usually begin to play the blame game, and blame OTHERS for being the "bad eggs" that we all seek to throw out of society. "If *group* went away, we'd all be doing a lot better!" But you see, you can replace that with any type of group: Socialists, Religion, Capitalists, Freemasons, etc. The irony is that they need to look in the mirror.
And since the U.S. has printed more money in the last two years than it has in all its 300 year history combined, what do you think is going to happen exactly?
Capitalism cannot save itself. Socialism is the only economic, political, and social system that does not have contradictions like Capitalism. People watching this need to realize it and check out the Party For Socialism and Liberation. PSL WEB . ORG
The Problem with most of you little socialist dikes is you don't know what the fuck your talking about. Sure the Government can give you clothes and a place to live food to eat free health care etc... But I don't want to wear the peoples uniform. Or live in an Inner city slum because they say so. I don't want to go to a job they say I must do even though I hate it. I am greedy, I want my kids to be allowed to be whatever they want to be, live where ever they want. And to have choices !
@treez78 Really? Our founding fathers has a signal economic belief that match an economic philosophy developed ~150 years later??? ... Interesting... and untrue. Our founding fathers had differing views on economic and the size of government. You can read about the early Federalist and Republican party which most of our founding fathers belonged to one or another.
@Loathomar Hamiton was about the only one who wanted a large governing body, and was the big push for a central bank. None of the founders who signed the Constitution wanted anything even remotely the size of what we had today.
@sirellyn Adams supported Hamiton's views, Washington was the first to put Hamiton in power. They both gave him their support by putting him in power. You have no real bias for your statement that "founders who signed the Constitution wanted anything even remotely the size of what we had today." None of the founders wanted a 50 state country, does that mean you want the US to reduce back to just the 13 founding state?
Really, most likely envision more powerful state governments and less federal government, but that does not mean they wanted smaller or less involved governments. The reason they envision more powerful state governments and less federal government was simple because they where all part of the state governments at the time.
@Loathomar Adams supported "some" of Hamitons views. The founders never wanted institutions to govern medicine, food, commerce, schools, energy use. They abhorred how the British would need to "inspect" houses for the "kings stamp" on all documents, causing all sorts of trouble while they were there. They fought against registration. Specifically allowed direct tax vs indirect taxation.
They had just debased their currency in a war and knew well how bad that was. So they tied it to gold.
@sirellyn Really, you think the debasement of the english currency in 1526 was a major part of the driving force of the revolution... it was only 150 years in the past for England, and they where using a unofficial gold standard sense 1663. You have a personal point of view that you want to have backed by the founding fathers. They could have put in the constitution that the money needs to have a gold or silver standard, but they didn't, so it was not a big thing for them.
@Loathomar That's an idiotic statement. They abolished two central banks precisely because they knew the destructive power they had. The U.S. has already had two hyper inflations due to over printing (getting away from the gold standard) before the 1900's. One famous one during the Civil war which created the Continental dollar. That's where the saying "as worthless as the continental" comes from.
@Loathomar I'm not talking about the english money I'm talking about the continental.
They debased their own currency to fund the war. And yes they were VERY specific. Congress shall have the power to coin money. Not "someone congress appoints". They did appoint positions already, they would have stated that if they meant that.
Also they did state in the coinage act only a few years after the constitution was written a dollar was 416 grains of standard silver. The same people wrote it!
@Loathomar There was a lot of stuff that happened in that war, and during the lead up with what they observed with the British that directly influenced what they created in the constitution.
Nearly every dirty trick the British employed to them we practice today, and more! We aren't totalitarian, but neither were the British.
@0932486509, "We can quantify the deaths caused by both communism and fascism, but we will never know how many deaths have been the result of capitalism; of nothing more noble than a rich man wanting to be even richer, and sacrificing the health and lives of millions of workers to achieve this. Don't even try to count how many people capitalism has killed, because not only will you not know where to begin, but also it will never end." Ludwig von Mises
Without property rights, no other rights are possible. Capitalism cannot co-exist with slavery because capitalism requires INDIVIDUAL property rights in order to even work (the right to keep what you've earned). And that means that no one (not even government) is allowed to steel from anyone else. Otherwise, contracts would be useless and it would be impossible to do business there.
@0932486509 This is why there was a civil war in the U.S. The Northern U.S. was the capitalist section where as the south was still using medieval ideas. The south was for keeping slavery which does not fit with INDIVIDUAL rights.
@0932486509 "We can quantify the deaths caused by both communism and fascism, but we will never know how many deaths have been the result of capitalism; of nothing more noble than a rich man wanting to be even richer, and sacrificing the health and lives of millions of workers to achieve this. Capitalism hasn't been in play since the creation of the federal reserve in 1913 actually. It's up to people to read their history which is sadly greatly spoiled by politicians who simply aim to get re-elected at any cost.
@treez78 The honest statement is that capitalism and communism are dead. Now it is a question of where on the socialism scale are we and do we want to be. It is really a question of comparative capitalism or socialism. The US is very far on the comparative capitalism side in comparison to almost every where in the EU.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Socialism = 20 million dead in Nazi (National socialist party) Germany as well as many 10's of millions dead in Soviet Russia, communist China. Also, see the difference between the progress of eastern and western Germany in the last half century for a comparison.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Really? According to who? If you're talking about MacDonald's and all those businesses, those are true monopolies which are not able to come to power WITHOUT GOVERNMENT SANCTION. In other words, their patents and franchises are PROTECTED by government. In true capitalism, that is not allowed. You rise and fall on your own merits and are not allowed to be bailed out or protected by government.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Socialism = 250,000 People dying every day From hunger and lack of Health sciences innovation . you peoples tit sucking scum bag !
@hobo59 Agreed, but, Capitalism is no better than Socialism. In this recession only the proletariat suffered while the rich made profit. Most of the world's millionaires and billionaires actually made money. The rich rely ignorant morons like you to perpetuate a system that makes them richer, and you poorer. I bet you think the rich suffered like the rest of blue collar America. The middle class no longer exists because of capitalism and the greed of the rich.
@GrowMasterGeneral You're not talking about Rich who earned their wealth by merit. Had it not been for government stepping in to bail these scum bags out, they would have gotten what they rightly deserved. Their businesses would have gone under (which is why they needed to be bailed out in the first place) precisely because they produced poor businesses which served no one.
@GrowMasterGeneral Ps. In Capitalism, you rise and fall on your own merits which means no government protection or bailouts allowed! No franchises which create monopolies. None of those things would be possible without government PROTECTION since others would be allowed to come in and compete. The way it is now, nobody is allowed because of government.
@0932486509 You're spectacularly stupid to think all wealthy people got rich on their own merit. Most of the wealthy were born into it, just as children from poverty stricken families are born into destitution.
@GrowMasterGeneral Many were, but most of America was a land of trees when people first arrived. Most people who came here were poor and had nothing but their shirts when they arrived and made very successful businesses.
@GrowMasterGeneral Also, I was not born wealthy and many of the people I know were not born into wealthy families either. They created their own wealth just as I've done. Many of the immigrants who still immigrate start with very little. Many billionaires even in the last few decades started in their college dormitories with nothing but creative enginuity. Dell, Facebook, Microsoft, Google and many before them. And they build. That's how it works.
@0932486509 I can name many billionaires who started with the same level of opportunity as anyone else born in America. Warren Buffet (Berkshire H.), Michael Dell (Dell computers), Jim Rogers (quantum fund), George Sorros (quantum fund), Jeff Bezos (amazon.com), Bill Gates (Microsoft), Steve Jobs (Apple), Zuckerberg (Facebook), Chad Hurley (YouTube), and many many many others... I could continue but I'm hoping by now you're getting the point.
Ted Turner, Sam Walton, Oprah Winfrey, George Lucas, Henry Ford, Andrew Carnegie... I could also go on with less famous AMERICAN billionaires who started with very little.
Children Killed by Preventable Diseases Since 9/11: 208,000,000
Children Killed by Hunger Since 9/11: 235,000,000
Children Killed by Hunger during the 1990s: 100,000,000
I can go on and give you the numbers of people that make over a billion that have died from capitalism but I doubt any dumb cracker would get any enlightenment from something that's not dumb.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 And where do you think government finds its money for welfare programs? Taxing. Taxing who exactly??? The none productive who have no money? Of course not. The people who HAVE made money.
There's two ways to acquire wealth. Selling products into the marketplace and forced expropriation of those who have created it. |Truth is, socialism cannot function without wealth created by capitalism. Unless you are planning to conquer a wealthy nation and steeling it's wealth.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Capitalism cannot fail because the free market is the most efficient way of knowing what things are really worth. Socialist countries need capitalist countries in order to know what they should artificially set prices to.
This is how soviet russia was able to survive for so long. It could use U.S. pricing systems to gauge what real prices were. Without free market economics, fixed pricing is an impossibility.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 lol really? Check out the Commodities index and tell me I'm wrong. No matter what governments try to do, commodities are free to float to whatever they are really worth.
@0932486509 "We can quantify the deaths caused by both communism and fascism, but we will never know how many deaths have been the result of capitalism; of nothing more noble than a rich man wanting to be even richer, and sacrificing the health and lives of millions of workers to achieve this. @0932486509 Commodities are not free to float especially when energy prices have gone down 40% since the recession but not reflected in the price that consumers pay. You failed miserably again, since that always happen to people who can't use their money to deny reality so it can fit their ideology
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Not reflected in the the prices that consumer's pay? What possesses you to say that? You are not paying 40% more for energy costs?
And what about other nations around the world which are becoming industrialized who have 10 times the population of the U.S.? Do you not think that they affect pricing of commodities? I'm afraid your argument has little substance. Feel free to keep debating it, but you cannot ignore the obvious.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Also, OPEC is not a free market organization because it is legalized by government to artificially set oil prices which does not support your case for socialism. If it was free market capitalism, they would go to jail.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 LOL!!!!!! really?? Wow you are so smart. Thank goodness for people like you!!! You seem to have completely evaded our earlier conversation about commodities. lol You've never even looked at the commodities index before clearly. Over recent decades and centuries, it's commodities and the law of supply and demand in the market which ultimately have the pull behind markets no matter what governments want. Prices of commodities are always ultimately determined by the market.
@0932486509 Governments can only set prices artificially TEMPORARILY because it's not as efficient as the market. Attempts to do so ALWAYS HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL FAIL in the medium and long terms.
@0932486509,Prices for commodities can and are frequently manipulated. They are several ways in which this is done.
Firstly, Pools: "Agreements, often written, among a group of traders to delegate authority to a single manager to trade in a specific stock for a specific period of time and then to share in the resulting profits or losses."
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Uhm, again... Price fixing by government ONLY EVER WORKS SHORT TERM. VERY short term. And then it always creates undesired long term consequences.
@0932486509, Thirdly, Runs: "When a group of traders create activity or rumors in order to drive the price of a security up." An example is the Guinness share-trading fraud of the 1980s. In the US, this activity is usually referred to as painting the tape.
There is a plethora of different methods used to manipulate commodities and markets, some that are closely guarded secrets of the elite modern day robber Barons.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 It doesn't take a brainiac to see what commodities will be in short supply in the next decades. Look at how few farmers there are today. Look at the population growth and where the money is going in the world. Which are the debtor nations, which are the creditor nations.
You don't need to rely on wall street to make smart intelligent analysis. If you do, then yes, they will take you for a ride. Rise and fall on your own merits.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 And if all you focus on is short term growth, then you are also in for a wild ride. Focus on long term trends and you'll avoid being taken to the cleaners. If you invest on sound principle rather than what wall street or anyone else tells you, you will come out on top. IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!
@0932486509 Runs: "When a group of traders create activity or rumors in order to drive the price of a security up." An example is the Guinness share-trading fraud of the 1980s. In the US, this activity is usually referred to as painting the tape.

@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Seriously, it's not that complicated and it does work. You don't have to stay in the U.S. if you can't invest there (frankly, I wouldn't blame you if you did leave because there is very little truth going on there). But if you figure out how to follow trends around the world, you will do well.
Clearly it's not the market's that are the problem, but your sheer ignorance of the subject. I suggest you read some books on it. I mean that in a friendly way.
@0932486509, Cuba has the same life expectancy as the usa because of their welfare system and it's a under-developed country.
None of you right wingers ever say who going to pay for the US military oh America would rather be bankrupt than spend (a fraction of the cost of what it spends on defence) money on welfare and I can't wait until it resembles Russia in the early 90's.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 And so why are so many Cunan's risking life and limb to escape if it's so good? Doctors get paid the same as musicians there. Trust me, I work with cuban musicians. I'm not ignorant on the subject. I ordered a bottle of water there once and it took them half an hour because they have no incentive to work efficiently AT ALL. If you wish to live in Cuba, then pack your bags and go live there.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 And why don't you go live in Russia as well? I'm sure you'd get along very well with all the mafia who you'd have to deal with if you did any business there.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 And your stupidity is on a whole new level I didn't even know existed. Way to show off your blaring colors of ignorance. Retard. LOL
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Wait, you're not stupid. That would be giving way you too much credit. You're just an asshole. lol You're not trying to make sense at all, you're just trying to provoke which is something only an asshole would waste his time doing in life. Get a job ya fucking loser. Or are you too unemployable? Fired too many times? For being an asshole? lol Anyhow, have fun talking to yourself. Go jerk off in your salad.
@0932486509 I am self employed and don't have to give rim jobs to the anus of rich people to have a roof over my head unlike you. Now who's the retard here lol.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 You've never asked me about my "employment" and your assumption about it is completely unfounded. And secondly, if you are self employed (own your own business), doesn't that make you a capitalist? You don't like to run at a loss every day do you?
BTW I employ 2 people in my business. I'm a subcontractor. Small business.
You seem to be an expert with rape.
And which countries don't want freedom? (I'm talking about people who live in them, not their politicians).
@0932486509 A recent study has shown that if a woman says “no” from the start, a high percentage of men still believe sex after that point does not constitute rape.
It's the same mentality the you pentagon sock puppets have towards imposing you free market swindle on countries that don't want it.
If you invest on wall street, then yes, you need to stop depending on their analysis. You are playing by their rules and you lose perspective if you do that.
What you need is a larger perspective of the world so that you know what commodities are in short supply and how their trading procedures work. Same thing with an insurance salesman. There's never a bad time to buy insurance if you ask him.
He's not your decision maker in the end. YOU ARE and if you can't see big picture, you're done.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 And PS. If what you like is having governments tell you what you can buy, when you can buy it, and what you're allowed to spend on it, then by all means, be my guest and go to a country where that is how things are going.
I don't imagine you'll want to stay there for long.
And you still fail to answer the question for where all these "desirable" welfare programs will come from. AT WHO'S EXPENSE!??
@0932486509 Secondly, Churning: "When a trader places both buy and sell orders at about the same price. The increase in activity is intended to attract additional investors, and increase the price."
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Capitalism is simply the process by which two entities can willingly exchange the fruits of their own effort with another for an agreed upon contract.
Thats it. Its nothing to riot over. If I can trade my bag of sugar for your bag of salt and we both agree, it's capitalism.
Capitalism isn't a type of government. There's only governments which promote capitalism more than others.
@0932486509 "We can quantify the deaths caused by both communism and fascism, but we will never know how many deaths have been the result of capitalism; of nothing more noble than a rich man wanting to be even richer, and sacrificing the health and lives of millions of workers to achieve this. @0932486509 No reasonable person could say a Jew would be wrong to feel unsafe or insecure in any environment where holocaust denial is pervasive. That's why the middle classes the poor and the underprivileged have everything to fear from (right wing nutters) those who deny the lethality of free market capitalism considering that it claimed more lives than Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot. et al.
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 PS. Hitler created Nazism which stands for NATIONAL SOCIALIST PARTY. These parties never created any wealth. They destroyed wealth. And they were NOT IN THE LEAST interested in free markets which is why they artificially fixed prices of EVERY SINGLE THING.
@GrowMasterGeneral Only ignorant little piss ants who aren't educated enough to get a job at Wally World would think the Elitists who are at the top of the heap in every Socialist state aren't mixed right in with the worlds richest ! Pick your poison dumb fuck either be ruled by Rich elitists in a Socialist Country. Or be Given the chance to get just as rich as those who rule in a Capitalist country !
socialism fits for a small family but its not feasible in a large country. socialism and all other "ideologies" died after the second world war and cold war. capitalism does not collapse, it is the markets of specific countries that collapse. the us and european markets entered into recession but the chinese and indian markets did not.
a government that governs best is a govt that governs least (but not entirely no because the govt exists in order to regulate private excessiveness)
@gleefanatic2010 The problem with Socialism on a grand scale like the Soviet Union. Is eventually the poor living off the wealth of the rich. Soon outnumber the wealthy and their wealth !
@hobo59 The problem with Socialism on a grand scale like western societies, Is that capital goes to where it can get the greatest return and I don't see the average person - who support capitalism - is willing to work as cheap as Chinese/Indian labour.
@hobo59 The problem with capitalism on a grand scale like western societies, Is that capital goes to where it can get the greatest return and I don't see the average person - who support capitalism - is going to be willing to work as cheap as Chinese/Indian labour.
@gleefanatic2010 You are wrong on all points. Socialism is very much alive and well all over the world. Socialism is not the absolute of Communism, which is pretty dead. Capitalism is also an "ideologies", so saying "socialism and all other "ideologies"" means Capitalism is dead too. The government that governs best is a govt that governs least is not true, look at the governments with the highest tax to GDP ratios; Denmark, Sweden and Belgium and the lowest are Saudi Arabia, and Afghanistan.
@Loathomar there is no pure socialism nor capitalism in the world. but the socialism that people want before never materialized. lol how sad that your measure of wealth is in terms of gdp. saudi arabia and afghanistan? those arent socialist countries, they are authoritarian! denmark, sweden and belgium are rich because their capitalist ventures feed their socialist welfare programs. its funny that you excluded switzerland and america just to prove your point. lol nice try, loathy
@hobo59 I have to agree with you here. When I saw this title I thought that there is a lot of talk on this channel about how capitalism is dying and socialism is gaining. This is just more of the same about if you say something often enough, sooner or later people start to believe it. Just more propaganda.
Capitalism wouldn't be so messed up if unions and regulations where implemented properly.. But when corporations buy government and practically wipe them out ("free market capitalism") economic collapse becomes inevitable.
@lostbuffalo Really? Do you think women would agree? They did not have the right to vote, and in many states lacked all property rights. How about black people? Where they more free in 1910 then today? Jim Crove laws, the KKK had millions of members, regular lynchings. Maybe if you where a well off white male, you would have been more free 100 years ago, but that is about it.
@Loathomar It was the idea of INDIVIDUAL rights which made capitalism possible. Of course, there were other ideas at the time which were not in line with that which were brought over from old times. Capitalism CANNOT survive with anything BUT INDIVIDUAL rights. This does not mean the rights to some groups at the expense of others (which is what socialism creates by artificially allocating wealth and power to certain power GROUPS). No other rights are possible without individual property rights.
It was not that long ago that we lived in a country where you could do anything you wanted to as long as you kept your word and it didn't injure or kill another person or steal from them their property 2 generation between now and then. My great grandfather was a free man, My grandfather and my father watched you all throw away freedom and piss on your own rights.
Let me put it to you in simple perspective.... If socialism was the historically prevelant government we would all be changing channels on our (tube) television by turning the knob and vigorous cancer treatment would equate to taking two Asperin tablets every 8 hours. BUT! The strong point is everyone would have a tube T.V. and a bottle of Asperin for their (now demanded) 50 hour work week.

Now, hyper inflating to help global banks profits/takeover.
dilbertgeg 1 year ago
@dilbertgeg Blaming all capitalists for what a VERY select and small group bankers and businessmen did on Jekyll Island is like blaming all Muslims for 9/11. That's far too wide a brush to be painting with and I think since that time the strata between capitalist thinking- that every man has a right to exist for his own sake also means no one has a right to sacrifice others who also have that right to themselves.. has split a chasm between that and the purely Corporate thinking.
JaysThoughts 1 year ago
See, the way I see it, all ideologies can work, but they don't because of the moral and intellectual structure of society. When people are immature and can't do things for themselves, then you need controlling and centralizing forces to shift them up, like old empires (although it never worked practically because the ones in power need to be as perfect as god or a supercomputer), but then as society matures, we move onto more liberating ideas (limited gov't, free markets). Maybe soon, Anarchy...
RaptillaMajor 1 year ago
@RaptillaMajor More accurately, I should say the ideologies don't end up filling perfect needs because they only are model for a certain maturity level of society, as people become more mature or drop in intellect (as with recent years), it will be time to move between the ideologies. It's hard to get the ideal settings for every particular ideology, however, because of the criteria they demand to work (as with the supercomputer/god requirement to manage socialism/communism/dictatorships).
RaptillaMajor 1 year ago
@RaptillaMajor Making a video on JUST THAT soon!
JaysThoughts 1 year ago
@RaptillaMajor As see Anarchy as the only solution. It would open up unlimited structures of ideals, and motion within the framework of Society. If you dont like one place, move to another. The great thing about it would be ideals would change; sometimes drastically, from one County to another. The Human element of power seeking would have to be closely watched though, and anyone advocating power structure would either leave of their own will, or ran out.
rea1001 1 year ago
@rea1001 There would eventually be a consolidation of power hungry People in one geographical location. This would be the place for them, where they can act like dogs and eat each other. The only problem would be they would eventually move outward from their eating utopia, and try to subvert the rest of Society. Technically, we have seen this process throughout History. The killing off of Indigenous culture is a prime example. So the expectation of this should be there from the start.
rea1001 1 year ago
@rea1001 Yes, even if there was total Anarchy throughout the world at this moment, peoples' levels of maturity and intelligence would quickly dissipate all the good Anarchy would offer. While Anarchy should be the goal of future humanity to achieve (considering it means Heaven on Earth), it will only be possible when there are no "bad eggs" around, and thus a spiritual evolution, or an enlightenment, first has to take place, if possible.
RaptillaMajor 1 year ago
@RaptillaMajor I think anarchy is pretty majorly misunderstood but I too absolutely hope we get to that point of human maturity some day- where no man need claim power over another or to initiate force because every man is rightly self governing. If the existence of true freedom, rational self interest, mutual benefit..if these things are not our ultimate goal..forget the naysayers who say it will "never happen"..if we are not at least striving for THAT.. what the hell is this all for.

It was not the government who enslaved people in America, it was private enterprise; the slave owners living virtually for free, not the slaves. Slaves were paid nothing and the wealth of their labor went to the slaveowner, not the slaves. Slaves also had no legal rights whatsoever.
You're very stupid.
bapyou 1 year ago
The problem with socialism and communism lies at the heart of its centralization mechanism. The minute a centralized plan, thought out by the nature of the flawed mind of human beings, dictates how an economy is run is the minute the butterfly effect is restricted and the economy is doomed to fail. Many today blame Capitalism on today's economic problems, when really the market has been centralized over the years in the US, by both government and Wall Street, in opposition to a free market.
RaptillaMajor 1 year ago
@RaptillaMajor Also, referring to an ancient Chinese school of thought, Confucianism I believe, "The less the King does, the more that gets done." This essentially means that the less there is centralization (although in today's case centralization is from both government and monopolizing market forces like big corporations), the more the free market is allowed to prosper and deliver benefits to the local people.

DKPrepper 1 year ago
@DKPrepper That only proves that you are very ignorant. Capitalism is the biggest cause of the pollution of our planet, the non-cooperation of governements & NAVO wars. It also feeds the egoism of mankind and results in more hatred and difference between each other. It's results in poor people either not having the chance or having a small chance of becoming successful in life, despite how much potential they have in becoming the next Einstein etc.

@benzomelon And yet no country has ever been truly capitalist. Much like communism, pure capitalism sounds good on paper, but never actually works.
DevoutSkeptic 1 year ago
@DevoutSkeptic Actually capitalism worked fine until the government got involved and enacted policies that stated it was everyones right to own a home. I'll take our system any day over Stalins gulogs, Saddams torture chambers, Cuba's poverty and Hitlers gas chambers any day. Study history....be careful what your asking for.
benzomelon 1 year ago
@benzomelon So you honestly mean to tell me you want to go back to the days when there were no regulations, so if you lost your leg on the job, you'd just be screwed and unemployed? Do you want to o back to the days when monopolies controlled everything? Do you want to go back to the days when corporations were not accountable for the safety of their products, and health standards in the work place? All I'm saying is, PURE capitalism is as bad as communism. Regulation is needed for it to work.
DevoutSkeptic 1 year ago
@DevoutSkeptic I never said that. We have safety nets...We have work mens comp, Monopolies? where?, companies accountable for their products? We have that, it's called FDA, health standards in the workplace? we have that it's called OSHA..maybe these agencies should be strengthened? I don't know, probably. But to say capitalism is as bad as communism. I would greatly disagree with you. The poverty rates and genocide that came with communism and fascism I could do with out.
benzomelon 1 year ago
@benzomelon I'm not saying capitalism is a bad as communism, I'm saying PURE CAPITALISM is as bad as communism. Pure capitalism is a system in which there is no government involvement in the economy, and the market is completely unregulated and free. So, my point is that both systems at their purest suck, and that the middle is the best. Remember we have a Mixed Economy, not a Pure Market Economy.
DevoutSkeptic 1 year ago
@DevoutSkeptic I would agree with that. Extremes of any system is bad. A balance must be used.. Good conversation!...Happy thanksgiving.
benzomelon 1 year ago
@benzomelon And to you.
DevoutSkeptic 1 year ago
@DKPrepper Socialism (and not in the way it is advertised in the USA) brings difference to the last part. Communism being a great theory is proven many times that it is not practicable in any way. Socialism is no system that can survive alone is is not meant to be used this way. Capitalism can result in better science & technology but the way it is run today is bad for the planet, the people and the animals (i.e. environmental destruction, class difference, multi-nationals corruption, etc.).
Isoik 1 year ago
@DKPrepper None of these three is a solution to the problems we are having nowadays. My opinion is that we should change the way Capitalism works (by decreasing its dominance), look at Communism and see how we can eradicate the difference between rich & poor and have Socialism keep an eye on the Capitalistic system and make sure the less fortunate get a fair chance. That's just to explain it with a few words. Today's democracy doesn't work at all because it's not true democracy!
Isoik 1 year ago
@Isoik Part of the egoism of mankind and the hatred and differences made because of competition from "Capitalism" is because the population is not very mature and/or intelligent. The correct solution, I believe, is that the people who are less mature or intelligent need their lives centralized and controlled (by non-man forces), whereas the intellectual and mature need a good amount of freedom. After all, no law is written until it is broken.
RaptillaMajor 1 year ago

RaptillaMajor 1 year ago
@RaptillaMajor Also, this is the reason why if Heaven existed, its government type would be Anarchy (the lack of laws, where the butterfly effect is in full swing and running strong), as there is no such thing as a "bad egg" in Heaven (they're all supposedly in Hell). As humanity evolves to become more intellectual, moral, and spiritual, and as "bad eggs" get weeded out over time, humanity then gets closer and closer to achieving a "Heaven on Earth", or achieving total Anarchy.
RaptillaMajor 1 year ago
@RaptillaMajor Also, it would be doing injustice if I didn't explain the "Capitalist" reference. You see, "bad eggs" will usually begin to play the blame game, and blame OTHERS for being the "bad eggs" that we all seek to throw out of society. "If *group* went away, we'd all be doing a lot better!" But you see, you can replace that with any type of group: Socialists, Religion, Capitalists, Freemasons, etc. The irony is that they need to look in the mirror.

You can read about the early Federalist and Republican party which most of our founding fathers belonged to one or another.
Loathomar 1 year ago
@Loathomar Hamiton was about the only one who wanted a large governing body, and was the big push for a central bank. None of the founders who signed the Constitution wanted anything even remotely the size of what we had today.
sirellyn 1 year ago
@sirellyn Adams supported Hamiton's views, Washington was the first to put Hamiton in power. They both gave him their support by putting him in power. You have no real bias for your statement that "founders who signed the Constitution wanted anything even remotely the size of what we had today." None of the founders wanted a 50 state country, does that mean you want the US to reduce back to just the 13 founding state?
Loathomar 1 year ago
Really, most likely envision more powerful state governments and less federal government, but that does not mean they wanted smaller or less involved governments. The reason they envision more powerful state governments and less federal government was simple because they where all part of the state governments at the time.
Loathomar 1 year ago
@Loathomar Adams supported "some" of Hamitons views. The founders never wanted institutions to govern medicine, food, commerce, schools, energy use. They abhorred how the British would need to "inspect" houses for the "kings stamp" on all documents, causing all sorts of trouble while they were there. They fought against registration. Specifically allowed direct tax vs indirect taxation.
They had just debased their currency in a war and knew well how bad that was. So they tied it to gold.
sirellyn 1 year ago
@sirellyn Really, you think the debasement of the english currency in 1526 was a major part of the driving force of the revolution... it was only 150 years in the past for England, and they where using a unofficial gold standard sense 1663. You have a personal point of view that you want to have backed by the founding fathers. They could have put in the constitution that the money needs to have a gold or silver standard, but they didn't, so it was not a big thing for them.
Loathomar 1 year ago
@Loathomar That's an idiotic statement. They abolished two central banks precisely because they knew the destructive power they had. The U.S. has already had two hyper inflations due to over printing (getting away from the gold standard) before the 1900's. One famous one during the Civil war which created the Continental dollar. That's where the saying "as worthless as the continental" comes from.
0932486509 1 year ago
@Loathomar I'm not talking about the english money I'm talking about the continental.
They debased their own currency to fund the war. And yes they were VERY specific. Congress shall have the power to coin money. Not "someone congress appoints". They did appoint positions already, they would have stated that if they meant that.
Also they did state in the coinage act only a few years after the constitution was written a dollar was 416 grains of standard silver. The same people wrote it!
sirellyn 1 year ago
@Loathomar There was a lot of stuff that happened in that war, and during the lead up with what they observed with the British that directly influenced what they created in the constitution.

Without property rights, no other rights are possible. And that means that no one (not even government) is allowed to steel from anyone else. Otherwise, contracts would be useless and it would be impossible to do business there.

@0932486509 Native American Genocide.. 95,000,000
African Slave Trade..............150,000,000

Children Killed by Hunger Since 9/11: 235,000,000
Children Killed by Hunger during the 1990s: 100,000,000
I can go on and give you the numbers of people that make over a billion that have died from capitalism but I doubt any dumb cracker would get any enlightenment from something that's not dumb.
dysesthesiaAethiopi1 1 year ago
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 And where do you think government finds its money for welfare programs? Taxing. Taxing who exactly??? The none productive who have no money? Of course not. The people who HAVE made money.
There's two ways to acquire wealth. Selling products into the marketplace and forced expropriation of those who have created it. |Truth is, socialism cannot function without wealth created by capitalism. Unless you are planning to conquer a wealthy nation and steeling it's wealth.

@0932486509 Capitalism can not fail because because it reverts to socialism for the rich before they fail.
dysesthesiaAethiopi1 1 year ago
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Capitalism cannot fail because the free market is the most efficient way of knowing what things are really worth. Socialist countries need capitalist countries in order to know what they should artificially set prices to.
This is how soviet russia was able to survive for so long. It could use U.S. pricing systems to gauge what real prices were. Without free market economics, fixed pricing is an impossibility.
0932486509 1 year ago
@0932486509 There is no such thing as a free market if your not free to reject it.

@0932486509 Commodities are not free to float especially when energy prices have gone down 40% since the recession but not reflected in the price that consumers pay. You failed miserably again, since that always happen to people who can't use their money to deny reality so it can fit their ideology
dysesthesiaAethiopi1 1 year ago
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Not reflected in the the prices that consumer's pay? What possesses you to say that? You are not paying 40% more for energy costs?
And what about other nations around the world which are becoming industrialized who have 10 times the population of the U.S.? Do you not think that they affect pricing of commodities? I'm afraid your argument has little substance. Feel free to keep debating it, but you cannot ignore the obvious.
0932486509 1 year ago

0932486509 1 year ago
@0932486509 Governments can only set prices artificially TEMPORARILY because it's not as efficient as the market. Attempts to do so ALWAYS HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL FAIL in the medium and long terms.
0932486509 1 year ago
@0932486509,Prices for commodities can and are frequently manipulated. They are several ways in which this is done.
Firstly, Pools: "Agreements, often written, among a group of traders to delegate authority to a single manager to trade in a specific stock for a specific period of time and then to share in the resulting profits or losses."
dysesthesiaAethiopi1 1 year ago
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Uhm, again... Price fixing by government ONLY EVER WORKS SHORT TERM. VERY short term. And then it always creates undesired long term consequences.
0932486509 1 year ago
@0932486509, Thirdly, Runs: "When a group of traders create activity or rumors in order to drive the price of a security up." An example is the Guinness share-trading fraud of the 1980s. In the US, this activity is usually referred to as painting the tape.
There is a plethora of different methods used to manipulate commodities and markets, some that are closely guarded secrets of the elite modern day robber Barons.
dysesthesiaAethiopi1 1 year ago
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 It doesn't take a brainiac to see what commodities will be in short supply in the next decades. Look at how few farmers there are today. Look at the population growth and where the money is going in the world. Which are the debtor nations, which are the creditor nations.
You don't need to rely on wall street to make smart intelligent analysis. If you do, then yes, they will take you for a ride. Rise and fall on your own merits.
0932486509 1 year ago
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 And if all you focus on is short term growth, then you are also in for a wild ride. Focus on long term trends and you'll avoid being taken to the cleaners. If you invest on sound principle rather than what wall street or anyone else tells you, you will come out on top. IT'S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!

Cheers! :)

BTW I employ 2 people in my business. I'm a subcontractor. Small business.
You seem to be an expert with rape.
And which countries don't want freedom? (I'm talking about people who live in them, not their politicians).

0932486509 1 year ago
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 And PS. If what you like is having governments tell you what you can buy, when you can buy it, and what you're allowed to spend on it, then by all means, be my guest and go to a country where that is how things are going.
I don't imagine you'll want to stay there for long.
And you still fail to answer the question for where all these "desirable" welfare programs will come from. AT WHO'S EXPENSE!??
0932486509 1 year ago
@0932486509 Secondly, Churning: "When a trader places both buy and sell orders at about the same price. The increase in activity is intended to attract additional investors, and increase the price."
dysesthesiaAethiopi1 1 year ago
@dysesthesiaAethiopi1 Capitalism is simply the process by which two entities can willingly exchange the fruits of their own effort with another for an agreed upon contract.
Thats it. Its nothing to riot over. If I can trade my bag of sugar for your bag of salt and we both agree, it's capitalism.
Capitalism isn't a type of government. There's only governments which promote capitalism more than others.
Even the US isn't very capitalist friendly.

socialism fits for a small family but its not feasible in a large country. socialism and all other "ideologies" died after the second world war and cold war. capitalism does not collapse, it is the markets of specific countries that collapse. the us and european markets entered into recession but the chinese and indian markets did not.
a government that governs best is a govt that governs least (but not entirely no because the govt exists in order to regulate private excessiveness)
:)

Maybe if you where a well off white male, you would have been more free 100 years ago, but that is about it.
Loathomar 1 year ago
@Loathomar It was the idea of INDIVIDUAL rights which made capitalism possible. Of course, there were other ideas at the time which were not in line with that which were brought over from old times. Capitalism CANNOT survive with anything BUT INDIVIDUAL rights. This does not mean the rights to some groups at the expense of others (which is what socialism creates by artificially allocating wealth and power to certain power GROUPS). No other rights are possible without individual property rights.

SOCIALISM IS A FORM OF CAPITALISM.
Capitalism = the rule of money.
Under Capitalism:
1) Corporatism, Business owns everything and Executives dictate.
2)Communism, The state owns everything and politicians dictate.
3) Socialism, Business owns everything and politicians dictate.
4) Democracy is socialism politicians dictate with a 51% mandate
In a free Republic: It is the Rule of Law NOT rule of Money. The people own everything, and they do as they will with very few rules to follow.
