  • METAL SPOONS, WASHBOARD ,TIN LIDS SIMPLE HOUSEHOLD OBJECTS BUT WHAT FANTASTIC RHYTHMS IN THE HANDS OF EXPERTS WHO'VE DEVOTED HOURS OF PRACTICE (47 years!!!!). SO FOOT TAPPY AND ENTERTAINING. (deep south of lil ol England UK)

  • born on the 4th of July nice

  • wow I live in ft lauderdale first time hearing about him, hope he is still around.someone please me know

  • NICE!!! I LIVE IN MIAMI AND NEVER KNEW THIS!!

  • thank you very much

  • OK, David speaks with a California accent and he's got a college degree...Big deal. The work he has done to preserve this music and make these people known to the general public greatly overrides any dorkiness(?) he may have. Not everyone can be from south "jogia" when they do programs of this nature. No one seems to mind Pete Seeger's New Yawk accent when he sings old folk songs. David is obviously digging the hell out of what he is doing and doesn't need to apologize to anyone. You go David.

  • this is not dorky! THANX FOR POSTING--WHAT A WONDERFUL PIECE OF HISTORY!

  • @distar10 Ya don't ya like these people, dam I am as southern n as you can get and so is he, Dorky Ha!
