  • need a sickle bar attachment to get the last few feet

  • Nice setup!

  • Jack, Where did you get the golf cart cover (what brand is it )...would like to get one for my ventrac to use for snowblower protection. BTW great idea.

  • @MrThumper1440 Got it at Northern Tool by ordering from their website. It just hangs over the tractor canopy and is secured by straps. It doesn't cover your legs, but it keeps snow from blowing in your face.

  • Awesome, Thats what i wanted to know

    Thank you ,

  • Hey:

got a qustion for ya . I think its more of a concern. The Exhaust. Do you smell it or doze it come in your face . When riding on the tractor? Other wise its a sweet tractor.

  • @Mikes1000Toys

There is an occasional puff, but, in general, the operator doesn't get any exhaust fumes. The pipe sends it off to the right away from the operator.

  • Sweet ibet it is ..

  • Nice Tractor,

How do you like it ? How much was it ?

  • @Mikes1000Toys

As you see it, the retail approaches 28K, but it is worth every penny to me. Excellent product.

  • Ilike the fact that your video has no music..just the engine sound. Drives me nuts when a video of motorized equipment is posted and someone edits music over it.

  • My neighbor took the video, and I edited it for my own use. Hence, no need for music. The engine purr is music to my ears.

  • great video....really shows the machine at work. Nearly to its max slope capacity. Have you ever tried this without the dual wheels? Also, does the engine ever bog down, from the sounds of it, I would say no. How about with the contour mower...does it ever slow the engine in high grass? I own a ventrac diesel and am still thoroughly impressed. My videos are under ventrac diesel blowing snow.

  • It is not reasonable or practical to operate a Ventrac 4000 series tractor without duals if the slope exceeds 20 degrees. On this pond bank, the slope gets up to 28 degrees. This mowing did not lug the engine. I have been in tall thick growth with the Tough Cut Deck where it was necessary to drive slowly to keep the engine speed up. Also, I have found that snowblowing seems to take the most power.

  • The perfect tool for the job, and such a lovely area to be cutting. That's job satisfaction.
