okay so after opening both those things on top of the door i went back to the that rod and tried to swing from that to the ledge to get up to the artifact, but i can never manage to jump to the ledge, i keep getting stuck in the floor and i have to start all over :( sooooo not fair

I believe if you collect all the artifacts (I forget what they are called, I believe relics) then you'll get the preference to change your clothes once you finish the game.

Yes, you can change outfit in the Croft Manor in the Bedroom or you can change the outfits you unlock while choosing your level at the start.

(OMG 2.09 LARA CHANGES HER CLOTHES :0)

anyway...

The bear can be really annoying, but the traps have been disabled, so I found it easiest to jump back quite a bit and shoot. Keep a large distance between Lara and Grizzly if you'r not good at dodging.

Otherwise, climb up the stone ledges like you did with the puzzle, and shoot the bear from above - this might take some time to angle correctly though.

The Boss is the TRex - but don't worry, he's easy :)

i see thats strange coz my one never went back up again but i can tell u this if u go on the plate after pulling down the weigght the weight goes up coz thats wot happeneed with me i had to do it again and i was going up n down jumping from the middle on the slopes i ddidnt knw about the poles at the ptyher end

well firstly the first time u meet the wolf over there u can pull down that pullee and then go to other side rather than go to toher side first and have to come back again

I think you'll find that there is a time limit on the switches. If you activate the left one first, by the time you do the second, the first one is reset. At least that's what I found on the first time I did this level. Also, you have to step on the floor panel once both switches are set, to open the doors. Only when the doors are open can you get the relic. So you have to go up to the right again.
