  • Please show us what your hands are doing - they keep going out of the picture!

  • wo bekomme ich dieses "Premier"??

  • @TheLolitaliban158 unter anderem bei mir;-)

  • Omg your nails are fabulous! Anyway, awesome tutorial. Great job~

  • If you bake Styrofoam (I set it at a low temperature of 150 F) the Styrofoam expands and cracks/splits the sculpture thus ruining it. :(

  • @studiobekka hello, this clay is airdrying!

  • @kitebabe05 for polymerclay you can use aluminiumfoil.

  • @kitebabe05 I know you use airdry clay but it was stated that sculpey can also be used with this technique. I was merely pointing out that if you use the styro with the sculpey that the baking will cause the sculpture to crack and split. There was no mention previously of aluminum foil as the core in substition of the styro

  • the shiny liquid is water glue to make the cay stick together

  • what is that shiny liquid you kept puttin on? what is it for?

  • @eev931 its water ;-b.

  • @kitebabe05 lol xDD

  • It may sound a little stupid but :Can I use a recipe for homemade modeling clay instead of brought air drying stone clay?

  • @SuperAisha22 Yes you can use other air-hardening clay or sculpey, you may need to adjust the modeling technique, if you can not work with layers.

  • you kinda make it seem so easy! I really think it is a hard work, thank you for sharing.

  • how do you get the styrofoam out of the head?

  • hi, in this sculpture no need to get out the styro. the finished doll you can see on my video " my ooak fantasy dolls"

  • how much does it cost to buy all of the supplies to make one head?

  • what.a.wonderful.work!

  • this was soooo helpful.

  • awesome!!!you're great!

  • Thankyou Kitebabe05, I have a book that tells me a lot, but seeing your technique is a massive help as you have filled in the gaps that the book failed to mention.

  • This made my Doll's head be much easier. Thanks a bunch!

Would it work the some with Super Sculpey?

And, do they sell it in the USA?

  • This technique can be used also with super Sculpey.

  • Hi u should do a disney fa\ce, change the contors to areils face :)

the eyes look like hers just paint the blue bit :) eeee.

    very educational and great sculpting

  • where do you get the eyes from, and what size are they? I sculpt smaller heads, so i am looking for eyes, but dont know how big they should be, or where to get them from.

  • The apparent size after you have finished choose head size. The figure here is about 45cm tall, I have used 10mm eye size.

  • With Sculpey you can use not Styrofoam, but Aluminiumfoil and the eyes you can insert in the foil. make 2 holes in the foil and take the eyes inside. or you make a thin layer sculpey over the foil and fixing the eyeballs in this sculpey layer...sorry my english is so bad =.=

  • Hi, you can use the same technique with super sculpey!

  • you are the best!!!

I want to make my own doll, and watching your "tutorial" will be more easy!!! thanks a lot!!!

    greetings by Mexico!!!

  • cool nails.haha.. that was awsome work right there!! XD

  • where did you get the eyes? what are they made of?

  • The eyes are glass eyes. They are directly embedded in the Styrofoam, then it comes to modeling.

  • its amazing that u put force on da head and it not being damage

  • Hi Kite ^_^

    I love your work

about the premier clay , can it be paint after drying ? which color should I use

    Thank you

  • Hello^^, yes you can paint this after drying, you can use acrylic colors.

  • it´s wonderfull

  • Sorry, I does not understand, the fake fingernails was times a mood of me! They obstruct however in model.^^

  • i wanna sculpt! im a great artist

  • What was the block shaped item that you used at 1:25-1:26 and what did you use it for? The ball goes off screen and then comes back looking different...

  • oh, yes I use only a sanding Block, with this I shape the styro.

  • This is exactly like the Dutch doll artist Hannie Sarris's technique. Well done.

  • This is a great vid. What kind of clay did you use, and what was the tool that you helped to clean your eye holes?

  • thank you. i use airdrying clay "Premier". the tool is a colour or clay shaper, its very useful^^.

  • Man, your nails are long :)

Gorgeous doll, I'm gonna try something similar I think, but not like you :P

  • omg that is so awesome!!

I cant even sculpt a decent circle xD

  • wow!! it looks so good!!!!^-^

  • the eyes are doll glass eyes.

  • what are the eyes made of?

  • Klasse Bebi !!! Gibt es auch noch eine Fortsetzung ? Grüße vidi :o)
