  • I get to the part of adding the bitmap to the dome but instead of coming up as one image it comes up as a tiled texture, anyone know why its doing this and how you could change it? cheers

  • Mainly to have fine control over stretching and to use the relax tools.

  • Yes, the process is very similar with a few differences when it comes to UV mapping in Maya. Cheers!

  • hey can I create the skydome through maya with the same process??

    thanks

  • just wondering if there is a reason why you didnt use the spherical mapping (environment) option in the bitmap instead of usign the uvw unwrap

  • Hello, I'm trying to create a good ocean scene in 3ds max, and it calls for a sky dome, and the first problem I have is not being able to find a good sky panorama. Is there any chance you could send me the one you have there? I don't even need the land in it, I just need sky. I can't find one without a watermark on them, and this is for college. Please help me out.
