I really never understood one thing. As we can see at 00:54 Beckham's ability to put the ball within an inch of where he wants it, was impeccable, even when the ball was in motion (ie. crosses). How come his long range shots during play weren't more frequent, let alone deadly?

Great scoring season for Dwight Yorke, I remember a goal he scored against Steaua Bucharest while he was playing for Aston Villa (1997-98), although the highlight of the match was a bycicle kick goal from Steaua striker Cristian Ciocoiu.
