Kayla is adorable. I saw your amazing story on the telethon last year and was very touched. My MDA camper is 8 and has the same thing. Kayla reminds me alot of my camper in many ways.. They are both fighters and a true inspiration!

Gene therapy is a very good possibility for your beautiful child, down the road,I have becker's type MC,none of my three daughter's,or anybody else in the family has the disease though.God Bless
I have myotonia congenita myself and if there's one piece of advice i can offer it would be that you should encourage her as much as you can in any physical activity that she does
