The continuation of a "Multiculturalism" - by definition multiple cultures - is entirely dependant on the continuation of distinct races and ethnicities. Anything other than such a distinction between races and ethnicities and their cultures spells the end of "Multiculturalism" - again, by definition multiple cultures.
Hence, by this way of thinking, "Multiculturalism" is a racially aware and segregationist doctrine.
